Mr. Mohammad Ali Taheri is an Iranian innovationist and theorist in the field of human sciences who has founded two complementary medicine sciences of Faradarmani and Psymentology. According to the reports by International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran “Taheri was arrested in April 18 2010 on charges of acting against national security and was held in solitary cell for 67 days”.

Since his release in end of June 2010, Taheri was arrested again in 4th May 2011 which he was imprisoned till date in “Evin Prison” in Tehran.

After 3 trials the “Revolutionary Tribunal branch 26” sentenced him to 5 years in prison and 74 lashes for allegations of “Blasphemy”, “Illegal income from conducting illegal classes” and alike. Even though his classes were based on the teachings and books which were approved by “Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Iran” in 2006, during his court trials, Mr. Taheri was accused of conducting illegal classes and teaching and he was given sentence based on these allegations.

During his imprisonment of 4 years, his lawyer who was chosen by his relatives was not given a right to enter the court room or even meet with Taheri. Moreover, the Iran’s government did not give any legal documents and case number related to Taheri’s trials to his family and the lawyer. In an open letter addressed to Ahmed Shaheed, the special reporter of human rights in Iran, Taheri has mentioned about his rights violation and asked Ahmed Shaheed to review his case.

Taheri’s case is known among various human rights organizations such as “Amnesty International”. Amnesty International has issued an urgent letter, calling for action towards Taheri’s case and highlighting the violation of his rights. His case is also being monitored by activists such as “Ahmed Shaheed” directly highlighting violation of human rights towards him in the release of “Report of the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Islamic Republic of Iran, by Human Rights Council, Section C, page 10”.

“But with just a year left in his sentence, authorities have changed the charges to corruption on Earth, which can potentially lead to a death sentence, according to his family” reported Fox News. Although, Taheri’s lawyer, Sayed Mahmoud Alizadeh Tabatabaei, has announced that Taheri’s new trial is going to be on 25^th February 2015, but, according to Fox news, when Taheri’s wife, daughter and brother attended the court, they were told that it has been postponed after Iranian new a year celebration, 21 March.

In late March and May 2015 2 trials have been held for Taheri. According to the latest report by news agency of Iran’s Judiciary, Mohammad Ali Taheri has been sentence to death penalty, but this verdict has not officially delivered to his lawyer and family yet.

It seems like some of the Iran Regime’s public media are spreading rumors about Mr. Taheri’s execution.  This, an unconventional method known as “Silent Execution”, is the Islamic Republic’s first attempt to test the water before the formal announcement of the court’s verdict due to Mr. Taheri’s supports around globe. This is what makes us worry about his condition more than before. While any common sense can understand about his innocence after brief study in his theories and opinions, and can testify that this verdict is really unfair.
