What an awesome invention! An “affordable”, portable water filtration system! It’s even shiny blue and looks like a top or a dreidel. It’s fun and enjoyment for the whole family… when you’re not thirsty. This handy little gadget has a 3 step filter built into it. A pre-filter starts by capturing large particles such as sand and plant matter. The water then passes through a layer of activated charcoal (which helps remove odors and chemical contaminants). Finally, a proprietary… (the most important one) polymer membrane that removes bacteria. Supposedly one filter can create enough clean water for one person for a whole year. Hmmmm… based on the old adage of 8-8ounce glasses per day being healthy; that works out to be right about 180 US gallons per year. I just don’t see it happening even if the filter can be taken apart and cleaned.This little beauty was “conceived” by none other than Jeremy Nussbaumer, a student at the ETH Zurich research institute. You know… Switzerland; where the rancid water has the whole population infected with dysentery, e-coli and other horrible little critters. Now for the exciting part! For a donation of a mere 89 dollars US currency, YOU can participate in the raising of funds to help produce enough of these for a scaled field test in Africa. For your 89 dollars, you will get a shiny new drinkpure filter (providing their goal is met and they actually produce them). Of course, since it’s designed to fit onto a water bottle, I’m pretty sure the proctors of the research will need to supply the people with even more non-biodegradable plastic bottles to put their water in too (since Africa is the water bottle capital of the known world).Now, I WILL give credit where it’s due. This Lad came up with an idea, because he was actually conscious of a big problem in our world. The grand idea to come up with an inexpensive way to make the world a healthier place and to try to do something about it is awesome. You have gained some respect for this and I now refer to you as Mr. Nussbaumer.There IS a small amount of hope for our human dystopia. With credit comes criticism in my book. Has anyone ever let Jeremy out of his little lab to maybe socialize a bit? Maybe to see what the world has to offer? Ancient Sanskrit and Greek writings recommended water treatment methods such as filtering through charcoal, exposing to sunlight, boiling, and straining.”* Using ultraviolet (UV) light for drinking water disinfection dates back to the year 1910 in Marseille, France** In the early 1930’s Professor Georg Alexander Krause from Munich discovered how to use electrolysis to deposit silver ions in water in order to clean it bacteriologically.*** Etc… etc… etc… no need to go on. So Mr. Nussbaumer I need to ask why you are spending so much money on technology that’s already been invented over and over again. Your thoughts and intentions are definitely admired but, your follow through leaves a pile of mud to be slogged through.
One of the latest trends on twitter has been the #JewsAndArabsRefuseToBeEnemies hashtag. The campaign was started a few weeks ago by Hunter College students in New York City. “The campaign exists in a sense in Israel, the slogan has been alive for years in Hebrew,” says Abraham Gutman, an Israeli. “We wanted to use that same slogan, to strengthen it, to show the international community that we don’t have to be enemies.”

The running theme in the 1980s and 1990s when contemplating the investigations of the pedophile rings in the UK: Westminster and Whitehall; or in the Netherlands, is to “protect the system.” After all, according to Thatcher’s former cabinet minister, Lord Tebbit, who believes a political cover-up “may have” occurred in the 1980s; the establishment’s “collective instinct” was to guard the situation closely.[i]
It is said that at least forty British MP’s are involved with the Westminster pedophile ring cover-up, with Home Secretary, Teresa May paving the way for further investigations, and announcing recently, a review into the 1980s cases of reported child abuse allegations. According to a 2012 article in The Mirror, Spinks was “identified as a dangerous child abuser with links to pedophile rings in the UK and Europe.”[v]
Evil Warwick Spinks, 48, who has a horrific history of kidnapping , abusing and selling young boys, was flown back to the UK after being arrested in Prague in the Czech Republic.
This isn’t the first time an elite pedophile ring has been covered up with the assistance of government officials.Considering this, with the current investigation of the missing dossiers containing the names of high ranking politicians and the Westminster pedophile ring, the same raised eyebrows could equally question the circumstances surrounding the silenced Rolodex investigation of Joris Demmink in 1998 in the Netherlands. Despite Demmink having somewhat forty accusations against him from this time, he was elected to the Dutch Secretary-General of the Ministry of Security and Justice from 2002 until he retired in 2012.[vi]

This investigation scrutinized some of the supposed main players of the ring, and police were ready to arrest and search homes when the operation came to a sudden halt.[vii] The names included Demmink, along with Frits Salomonson, court judge in Amsterdam and judicial advisor to Queen Beatrix; Prince Claus, husband of Queen Beatrix (whose father established the Bilderbergs);

Job de Ruiter and Ger van Roon, both high standing professors at the Free Univeristy of Amsterdam; and District Attorney, Henry Hans Holthuis. [viii] It is suggested that Demmink, in his position, tipped off the suspects by leaking information from the prosecution. The Rolodex investgation ended before it ever had a chance to start.

Currently, the investigations have reopened. According to The Express in January this year, “The news comes as Dutch police prepare to re-open an investigation into child sex, which may be broadened to include British pedophiles operating in the Netherlands…Last week, Dutch prosecutors confirmed they are to investigate the Netherlands former justice ministry secretary-general Joris Demmink for allegedly raping two Turkish boys.[ix] It doesn’t stop there, with the Netherlands own Savile possiblity – entertainer Paul de Leeuwlinked to Demmink, by a witness, interviewed by journalist, Micha Kat.[x]
The question now remains, with evidence resurfacing for investigations, after years of neglect and burial by the elite groups who are involved, with new members willing to stand against them…will justice finally carry the day?
Don’t forget the catch phrase for the Ministry of Justice that Demmink ran in the Netherlands: “To build a just and safe society.”[xi]
To me? It seems sort of like Mecha-Godzilla (for those of you who might be a fan of old sci fi). All the potential destructive power of the past wrapped up into a modern day package. It’s kinda scary no matter what your perspective is. WHAT am I talking about today? You ask. Why, it’s the United Kingdom’s newest unmanned stealth drone! The “BAE Systems Taranis Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle (UCAV)”* to be exact. It sounds official, technical and pretty damn scary.
The basic specs include an Adour Mk951 jet engine with a super-secret exhaust system, 33 foot wingspan, passive and low profile antennae and elimination of pretty much all outboard radar profile equipment.
The translation of the specs: The Rolls Royce made Adour Mk951 turbofan engine ** (jet as we know it). Capable of pushing a 5000 pound aircraft through the air at up to 683 miles per hour or 68.3 miles in one minute as the commuter drives. As far as the super-secret exhaust pipe? We can only speculate. The whole concept of being “stealth” would also involve being able to hide the heat from the engine (which is one of a few reasons traditional smaller drones are prop powered). Once again, where stealth and invisibility to radar are concerned, anything that sticks out of the plane and makes a jagged profile has been removed or shaved to higher tech devices. Think about the how the antennae have changed for satellite radio on your car and you’ll get the gist. Finally, the 33 foot wingspan. It’s definitely larger than some but to put it into better perspective for all of us… If you park two medium sized pickup trucks bumper to bumper? There is approx. 33 feet. All this and more for about $300 million dollars, 8 years and 1,500,000 man-hours of research. What a bargain!!
According to BAE systems* “The aircraft… under the control of a human operator, is capable of undertaking sustained surveillance, marking targets, gathering intelligence, deterring adversaries and carrying out strikes in hostile territory”. Ok then…. Don’t we already have satellites and things that can do this? Well, there’s only a few of them. Oh yeah! High altitude cameras!! We have them! Fun factoid time! did you know that in the early 80’s we had a plane called the SR-71 Blackbird that could fly as high as 70,000 feet and still focus on the license plate of a car? And take pictures! Before that, we had one called the U2 which could get up almost as high and do almost the same things? SO! BAE systems has perfected the invisible oversized RC plane that can do…”stuff” wait… didn’t Wonder Woman have one of these too? Can it deliver a pizza though? let me know about road construction? Perhaps drop some paper to me when I can’t hold myself and need to pull off of the highway? NO. it’s only there to watch you without you knowing and take your life before you know what happened.
All joking aside YES, I understand the need to keep our soldiers safe while they are protecting me from tyranny and other unthinkable crap. YES this machine could be an awesome tool to accomplish that task and become a fantastic deterrent BUT, deterrent to whom? We all know that isn’t where it’ll stop.
What’s the next step from here? Maybe the 2005 Columbia pictures movie “stealth”? Terminators? Robotic police complete with their own A.I.? Who’s money or blood will pay that price? Why can’t the time and money pay to improve our world instead of finding ways to destroy it?
