Cannibal Cop gets acquitted

Imagine this: the year is 2012 and we’re inside the NYPD, looking over the shoulder of a 28 year old trusted member of the police force as he sifts through countless names on a Federal database. His search is for a particular type of woman fitting the profile of his case, and to collect specific information. Over time, he catalogues at least 100 women on his computer: profiles, addresses, photos.[1]

The nature of his search, which also involves fetish chat rooms, is a formulated design of rape, torture and cannibalism. The women are the potential victims.

One would be forgiven if they left Officer Valle to his devices. But it wasn’t a criminal he was investigating. The information gathering was for his own benefit; to satisfy what the courts labelled as his “fantasy.”

In conversations online via email, chatrooms and instant messaging, Valle outlined the “mechanics” of his depraved attacks:

“I was thinking of tying her body onto some kind of apparatus…cook her over low heat, keep her alive as long as possible.”[2]

In other online activities, the FBI discovered that Valle had discussed his plans with multiple co-conspirators to “kidnap, rape, torture, kill, cook and cannibalize” a number of women from his lists. The databases he had accessed gave him lists of addresses, physical descriptions and images of his potential victims.

But it was his wife that discovered the horrific details on a home computer, mentioning her as a potential target. It suggested he take his “girlfriend” to Pakistan where he could butcher her together with another man. As a newly-wed with a young daughter, Valle’s wife informed the FBI, handing over the computer where they discovered a list of his potential victims’ names and his detailed tactics.[3]

His first victim involved a complete plot of the proposed kidnapping, including obtaining and using the chemical chloroform to render his victim unconscious, and the strongest type of rope. He met his target on a Sunday for lunch and bragged about it to a co-conspirator.

In 2012, Valle was arrested on conspiracy to commit kidnapping (carrying a maximum term of life in prison), and one count of accessing a computer without authorization and exceeding his access to obtain information from a department and agency of the United States (carrying a maximum sentence of five years and a fine of $250 000).[4]

Now, fast forward to 2014.

Gilberto Valle was acquitted by the US District Judge, Paul Gardephe, citing that the original evidence used in the 2012 case against Valle is “more likely than not the case that all of Valle’s Internet communications about kidnapping are fantasy role-play…” though he concedes to the “misogynistic” and “highly disturbing” content. Valle’s attorney, Jill Gatto added to the statement, “He is guilty of nothing more than having unconventional thoughts…”[1]

The question remains to this day, if his thoughts are unconventional, how one would describe the transcript seized of him discussing payment of Victim two with his second co-conspirator in relation to a kidnapping. The transcript states co-conspirator two arranging a payment of $5000 to Valle in exchange for a kidnapping of a woman (to be kept alive for delivery). During this discussion where the co-conspirator reportedly tried to negotiate the price down to $4000, Valle stated he was “in the business of kidnapping…I think I would rather not get involved in the rape. She is all yours and I don’t want to be tempted the next time I abduct a girl.” Adding, “…Really get off knocking her out, tying up her hands and bare feet, and gagging her.” [2]

…Mere fantasy or something more sinister?

Thorium….Friend or Faux? Car Runs 1 Million Miles on 8 grams

“Car runs 1 million miles on 8 grams of Thorium”…It almost sounds too good to be true. So, is it? According to a company called Laser Power systems from Connecticut it is not only possible but, in the works.

After reading the article 4 times (which can be found in the link below) I find myself asking a few questions. Now, who am I to question the claims and possible fame of this red, white and blue cutting edge company? I’m purely a voice among the anonymous masses. I lived and spent my childhood on the proverbial “wrong side of the tracks”. I went to a college that specialized in industrial and mechanical processes. I work with my mind and hands together daily on anything from lawnmowers to conceptual science projects.

In theory? (A very general theory I might add) this sounds like a way to lead us into fossil fuel freedom. Watch out Duck Dodgers! Here we come!

Since the late 70’s and the gas crunch of the 80’s there’s been an unimaginable amount of small concept companies trying their best to come up with alternative fuels and systems to get us away from fossil fuels let alone baffle us with technical marvels from the far future. Residing at the top of my Swiss cheese memory is a company called Talbert Industries. Mr. Talbert came up with ideas of achieving over 100mpg with his fuel formula but lacked a delivery system. He did what all good mad scientists do and sent his minions to gather the people and beg for support in the form of their hard earned money. To make the ever so long story short, enamored in a majesty that only Dr. Who could weave, people gave him money…including my father the carpenter and my mother the makeup saleswoman.  For the next few years updates and shareholder meetings came and went. One day an announcement arrived stating that Talbert industries had gotten notice of a very large supporter buying into the project and that the finish line was in sight. Mr. Talbert’s company was never heard from again. His private investor halted all progress and the project passed quietly into the night.

Now, we fast forward to 2014 and the concept of a Thorium driven vehicle. To do some quick and realistic mathematics; while following this theory, 8 grams of Thorium could produce enough energy to  let a gasoline powered car that gets 20mpg over 1 million miles. Of course, there are no actual trials to prove this. As a simpleton I’ll ask “What about hills, valleys? Altitude? Weight? Cold? Heat?” The article states “The question is not, however, “if” they can get it to work, but “when” they can get it efficiently produced. When they do, they will have a vehicle that “will wear out before the engine. There is no oil, no emissions – nothing.” Quite the claim if you sit and think about it.

Hmmm…interesting. The Thorium would be used to create a laser, which would heat water which would, in turn, drive a number of mini turbines to produce electricity to drive the car. Elroy Jetson would proudly build this in his spare time from old toaster parts. In the deep, dark reaches of my mind and imagination I have no doubts that it’s possible with an intangible amount of work and technological jumps. This all brings me to one question. Will it be “allowed” to happen? Will it be allowed to playfully threaten the big car companies like the Hydrogen and the Hybrid electrics have? Maybe. Will some large super-secret investor come along with the sheckles to push the project through the roof only to make it disappear because it’ll affect the amount of money coming into his pocket from the big oil?

I sincerely wish you all the luck in the world Laser Power systems from Connecticut but, I must officially call shenanigans. Due to the greed and complacency of this thing we call our government and the overlordish rights they believe they have, I predict it will not happen in my lifetime unless the people smarten up, stand up and regain control…for the good of ALL. Not just some.

U.K Political Pedophile Ring Scandal – Much more than meets the eye

Many high ranking British Officials have been accused of being involved in a pedophile ring that extends much further than just the United Kingdom, stretching as far as the United States.

Before, a massive pedophile ring involving British officials was thrown to the side as nothing but conspiracy theory, but this theory is now being officially investigated due to a staggering amount of evidence confirming this theory to be valid. Furthermore, the cover up by the criminals involved has not gone well, as the British government has come under fire due to the recent “disappearance” of key files regarding the crimes. There are currently around forty British MPs (Members of Parliament) under investigation, but there is much more to this scandal than meets the eye.

The-U.K.-Political-Pedophile-Ring-Scandal-is-Just-The-Tip-of-the-Iceberg-800x400

The scandal initially centered on the rape and child abuse accusations against the influential BBC presenter, Jimmy Savile, who was knighted in 1990 and died 2011. The investigation broadened after victims testified that the abuse involved an organized ring of pedophilia being run out of BBC, involving at least forty British MPs. This scandal also involves a close friend of Jimmy Savile, Sir Cyril Smith, who was knighted in 1988. Cyril Smith had an “overwhelming” amount of evidence accusing him of physically abusing young boys in the 1960s.

So why aren’t these men behind bars? Mainly because Savile and Smith are both dead, but also due to the widespread corruption of the British government and because of their influence and connections across the U.K. This is especially true for Savile, who was said to have been well acquainted with the royal family itself. However, the real question we should be asking ourselves is will the rest of this ring be prosecuted? This scandal has been covered for decades, even with all of the testimony by victims to this horrible ring of pedophilia. BBC fired the first reporter who tried to expose the scandal in 2012. It’s pretty obvious why this is being covered up once you look at the type of people involved and their level and influence in the government, but with this issue catching the attention of the internet the issue is getting much more difficult for these offenders to hide their crimes.

image-6-for-the-real-jimmy-saville-gallery-396885890

This issue won’t be able to stay in the dark much longer due to the attention of journalists and the internet, making this outrageous scandal and those involved come to light and be exposed for what they are.

So this is just in the United Kingdom, right? Wrong! The United States government had nearly 1,700 staff members of the Department of Justice show up on a list of names gathered from an internet child porn sting out of 3,200 names found. The investigation was stopped due to a “lack of resources” after a very short 8 months. Due to recent attention, the investigation is being officially reopened and hopefully the culprits in the U.S. government will be prosecuted.

Aaron Swartz – A Hero Who Died Too Young

Written by: poppy

Aaron Swartz died January the 11th 2013 aged just 26. In his families words:

“Our beloved brother, son, friend, and partner Aaron Swartz hanged himself on Friday in his Brooklyn apartment. We are in shock, and have not yet come to terms with his passing.

Aaron’s insatiable curiosity, creativity, and brilliance; his reflexive empathy and capacity for selfless, boundless love; his refusal to accept injustice as inevitable—these gifts made the world, and our lives, far brighter. We’re grateful for our time with him, to those who loved him and stood with him, and to all of those who continue his work for a better world.”

Why did this compassionate, intelligent, highly capable man die, and why did his death spark so much interest leading to a compelling documentary being made and released in June 2014.

There’s no doubt about it, Aaron Swartz was a wonder kid. He taught himself to read at age 3. By 12 he created Info Network, a user-generated encyclopedia, which Swartz later likened to an early version of Wikipedia.

At the age of 13, Swartz helped create an important technical standard known as RSS, and while still a teenager, he helped sell a company called Reddit after it merged with his own project, Infogami.

By 2008, Swartz founded Watchdog.net “the good government site with teeth” and in 2009, wanting to learn more about effective activism, he helped launch the Progressive Change Campaign Committee.

During academic year 2010–11, Swartz conducted research studies on political corruption as a Lab Fellow in Harvard University’s Edmond J. Safra Research Lab on Institutional Corruption

As a congressional intern, he helped advocate for reform of the health care system and the Federal Reserve. In 2012, Swartz used the knowledge he gained to lead an unprecedented political campaign to defeat the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA), a bill that would have undermined free speech on the internet.

While researching in 2011, Swartz plugged a laptop into the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) network and downloaded a bulk of documents from an academic database named JSTOR (a digital library), Swartz had a history of analysing large batches of academic data and no history of breaking the law.

On the night of January 6, 2011, Swartz was arrested near the Harvard campus by MIT police and a U.S. Secret Service agent. He was arraigned in Cambridge District Court on two state charges of breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony. Over the next year and a half, the government added multiple counts to the original charges, which saw him facing 35 years in jail.

The prosecutors offered him a plea deal, to spend 6 months in prison, which he refused asserting his innocence but he was left feeling more and more trapped and scared of the federal charges and the implications for him.

After several years of being threatened and deceived, and having spent his entire fortune on legal fees, he was in a depression. 2 days after the prosecution declined a counter offer by Swartz he was found dead by hanging. He left no note.

His family and his partner created a memorial website on which they issued a statement saying “He used his prodigious skills as a programmer and technologist not to enrich himself but to make the Internet and the world a better place. Also adding “Aaron’s death is not simply a personal tragedy. It is the product of a criminal justice system rife with intimidation and prosecutor overreach. Decisions made by officials in the Massachusetts US attorney’s office and at MIT contributed to his death”

in the year since his death Aaron Swartz has become a martyr, he is remembered for his unwavering dedication to his principles, his friends and his tireless struggle against injustice.
