Polaroid has unveiled its new instant digital camera, the Polaroid Snap, that it will let you print out 2×3-inch pictures instantly without having to worry about replacing the ink. Instead of using the ink, the Polaroid Snap uses special printing paper called ZINK (Zero Ink), which contains cyan, yellow and magenta dye crystals under a protective polymer coating. When you hit the shutter, the ZINK-enabled printer activates those crystals to create full-color high quality, long-lasting and smudge-proof wallet-sized photos.
Polaroid Snap takes 10-megapixel photos and has a microSD slot holding memory cards with up to 32GB of capacity. The camera has several simple presets — color, black and white and vintage — a self timer, and a photo booth mode, which takes six photos in 10 seconds. You can shoot new photos even while the Polaroid Snap is printing. You will miss Zoom and Wi-Fi in Polaroid Snap though.

Hardy, President and CEO of Polaroid in a press release.
Polaroid Snap will be available in four colors — black, white, red and blue — in the fourth quarter of 2015 for $99. A 50 pack of 2×3-inch ZINK paper is available for $24.99 at Amazon.
