Mark Rathbun, is a former Scientologist, who once worked close to the ecclesiastical leader of the Church of Scientology, David Miscavige. Rathbun has been the target of Scientology’s foot soldiers after he left the Church of Scientology in 2004, and became an independent Scientologist. In October 2014, Rathbun posted a video, which showed three members of the church’s top management ambushing him at Los Angeles International Airport. In 2011, Rathbun posted footage on YouTube of him turning an actual hose on harassing Squirrel Busters, to the tune of Car Wash, at his home in Corpus Christi, Texas.
He runs a blog called Moving On Up a Little Higher, and has been vocal regarding his displeasure over many of the Church’s practices. According to him, this has resulted in harassment.

You can’t really call people turning up on your personal property parking in front of your car coming into the actual lines of your property recording you and saying things about you just being annoying a lot of people would of just been violent and hurt them for setting foot on their property let alone saying crap about them and potentially getting in the way of an emergency… They were in the wrong all he did was use a hose it’s water it dries
