Gearoid O’Colmain is a Paris-based Irish journalist and author who isn’t afraid to be controversial. In this interview with RT, O’Colmain nails a few home truths regarding the Paris attacks in a critical and intelligent rant against globalization and Western imperialism. He argues that:
- Europeans need to understand that the War on Terror waged against the Syrian population is also terrorism, and as long as it continues, we can expect the radicalization of young disillusioned Muslims to continue.
- The US and its allies have created “a new kind of colonialism” which aims to “divide, conquer and destabilize” the Middle East (and eventually the world).
- ISIS was funded and armed by Western intelligence agencies to further this goal: O’Colmain points to evidence contained in declassified documents and argues this is fundamental to understanding what is really going on in the world right now.
- These terrorist proxy groups are then used against “nation states who reject a US/Israeli hegemony to submit to a global order that only serves the interests of a tiny and tyrannical elite.”
- France is using fear and propaganda to encourage panic and mistrust of the Muslim population, a typical “divide and conquer” tactic to create what he calls a “low-intensity civil war.”
- O’Colmain predicts the attacks will be used as justification for a crackdown on dissident voices, the alternative press, and activism.
- Freedom of speech is already being crushed, with a French teacher fired for suggesting Western imperialism could be linked to increased terrorism threats and University professors being silenced. He calls this “intellectual terrorism.”
- The recent flow of Syrian refugees into Europe, or what O’Colmain refers to as “coercive engineered migration” was intentionally planned in order to create the conditions for all of the above.
- Martial law may be implemented while people are scared and looking at the government to rescue them, which is exactly how they want people to react.
- We can expect further division, social unrest and the systematic destruction of civil liberties in the wake of the Paris attacks, not only in France but across the Western world.

If it’s the united states that bombs Syria and destroyed other countries in the middle east, why do they attack France and not the us? You know what France actually did? France tried to accept Stephen Grier(wrote it wrong on purpose) E.T. ambassador program; also it’s connected to the France’s nuclear power plants being drone-scouted.
France also attacked Syria, several times, starting by 1945

This is purely truthful, but the western media will never make this known and are attcking a shadow terror group. This terrorits has nothing to do with Islam. If indeed they are Muslims, please help me answer this question; Why are they attacking densly populated Muslim countries and not non-islamic countries?

From what I understood of the forces on the field : In Irak/Syria/Turkey, there are a lot of kurdish, and kurdish people are mainly sunni (moderate, tolerant islam), Isis members are salafi (extreme and rigorist islam).
Kurdish people were settled in Irak and were massacred by ISIS (along with resisting Irakis, free thinkers, christians, and people who were not in line with their vision of Islam…). Isis took over Mossoul (second biggest city of Irak, with the greatest Iraki oil refinery). Since then, “Islamic State” benefits of huge financial ressources due to oil trade and they control quite a lot of territory in that area, rulling with terror and violence in the name of religion.
Locally, it’s really not about “Islam” versus “Non-islam”, It’s THEIR (crazy and radical) islam versus regular islam or whoever they call “infidels”.
Daud Abdul-Aziz some of us do know and there are a lot that remain willfully ignorant for some reason, I am on here digging everyday for truth because I know I can not trust to get truth from this government or our news sources. As a common working tax paying person in the u.s; What can we do, My only conclusion is a prayer that another country gets fed up with the sorry elites and stops but every ones integrity can be bought. The elites they want a new world order to have all the control of the world. And I guess it will just happen because I see no one standing against them to stop them that’s big enough, I lived in Saudi Arabia for 3 years and for so many years everything has been nothing but peaceful …and now all of the sudden THIS mess, Yeah I do have my doubts about Muslims being behind all this crap. There is a much bigger plan trying to come out of all this moreover it is all planned to go exactly the way they want it to. I try thinking positive but where would a possitive thought even come frome these days.

If it wasn’t whistleblowers like Snowden and Manning. Noam Chompsky is a good resource too. People are waking up to what the “masters of the world” are doing. It’s a new kind of imperialism. When they can’t lie there way into war, then they have to resort to covert operations. Sometimes with unintended consequences. Not that they care. It’s just collateral damage. We don’t seem to care unless it’s an ally like France. Better to gin up the call for war.
This fear and control that is being instituted in France has been going on here in the US since before 9/11 2001 Teachers fired for speaking out, propaganda in place of news etc… This is no joke.

No, I do not think this article is the truth. I believe it is easier than this. It is a question of money. If there is no war, weapons are not needed, no one buys them and there is no big money to be gained for the sellers. But… both real wars and terror attacks need guns. And if people are afraid for new attacks they need to arm themselves – so it is very lucrative for the weapon sellers!
