Why Did The Vatican Remove 14 Books From The Bible in 1684?

The Vatican church, or the Roman Catholic church, has a long history of corruption and deception. Aside from literally committing acts of outright genocide several centuries ago against the Cathars, to sexually abusing children in more modern times, it is certainly one of the most corrupt organizations in history.

 Comp-1_431101

In the year 1611 the Bible was translated from Latin into English. Back then the Bible contained a total of 80 books and the last 14 books, which today have been excluded, made up the end of the Old Testament and were as follows:

  • 1 Esdras
  • 2 Esdras
  • Tobit
  • Judith
  • The rest of Esther
  • The Wisdom of Solomon
  • Ecclesiasticus
  • Baruch with the epistle Jeremiah
  • The Songs of the 3 Holy children
  • The history of Susana
  • bel and the dragon
  • The prayer for Manasses
  • 1 Maccabees
  • 2 Maccabees

In 1684 all of these books were removed from all versions except for a 1611 edition, which was the very first edition translated into English.

In this first edition you will also actually find that Jesus’ name is spelled IESUS and pronounced Yahashua. So why then does everyone continue to call him Jesus, when the letter J did not even being used at the time?

One of these books that is particularly interesting, is the “Wisdom of Solomon”. For those who don’t know Solomon is one of the most legendary characters from the Bible. He was the son of David and is alleged to be the wisest man that has ever lived. He is painted largely as a benevolent figure. But what you read in this book will make you question everything you were told to believe about him.

Observe the following excerpt;

Wisdom of Solomon 2:1-24

1 For the ungodly said reasoning with them selves, but not aright, our life is short and tedious and in death of a man there is no remedy: neither was there any man known to have returned from the grave.

2 For we are born at all adventure: and we shall be hereafter as though we had never been: for the breath of our nostrils is as smoke, and the little spark in the moving of our heart

3 Which being extinguished, our body shall be turned into ashes, and our spirit shall vanish as the soft air,

4 And our name shall be forgotten in time, and no man shall have our works in remembrance, and our life shall pass away as the trace of a cloud, and shall be dispersed as a mist, that is driven away, with the beams of the sun, and overcome with the heat thereof.

5 For our time is very shadow that passeth away; and after our end there is no returning: for it is fast sealed, so that no man cometh again.

6 Come on there for let us enjoy the good things that are present: and let us speedily use the creatures like as in youth.

7 Let us fill ourselves with costly wine and ointments: and let no flower of the Spring pass by us.

8 Let us crown ourselves with rosebuds, before they be withered:

9 Let none of us go without his part of our voluptuousness: let us leave tokens of our joyfulness in every place: for this is our portion and our lot is this.

10 Let us oppress the poor righteous man, let us not spare the widow, nor reverence the ancient gray hairs of the aged.

11 Let our strength be  the law of justice: for that which is feeble is found to be nothing worth.

12 Therefore let us lie in wait for the righteous; because HE is not of our turn, and HE is clean contrary to our doings. He upbraideth  us with our offending of the law, and ojecteth to our infamy the transgression of our education.

13 HE professeth to have the knowledge of the MOST HIGH, and calleth HIS self the child of the LORD.

14 HE was made to reprove our thoughts

15 HE is grievous unto us even to behold, for HIS life is not like other men’s, HIS ways are of another fashion.

16 We are esteemed of HIM as counterfeits: HE abstaineth from our ways as from filthiness: HE pronounceth the end of the just to be blessed, and maketh HIS boast that GOD is HIS father.

17 Let us see if HIS words be true: and let us prove what shall happen in the end of HIM.

18 For if the just man be the Son of THE MOST HIGH, HE will help HIM and deliver HIM from the hands of HIS enemies.

19 Let us examine HIM with despitefulness and torture, that we may know HIS meekness and prove HIS patience.

20
Let us condemn HIM with a shameful death: for by HIS own mouth HE shall be respected…..

This raises a number of important questions

  • Who is Solomon speaking of killing with a “shameful death”?
  • Why did the Vatican vote to have these 14 books removed from the Bible?
  • Why did Solomon sound so crazy and evil in this book?

It seems that Solomon was speaking of Jesus. But Jesus was born roughly 900 years after his death. Could he have prophesied Jesus’ coming? Let’s consider why this could be who Solomon was talking about;

  • They killed the SON with a shameful death
  • The SON’s actions or fashions were different from everyone else’s
  • HE claims to be and IS the child of The MOST HIGH
  • He was a righteous poor man who would look at Solomon and others like him as “counterfeits”.
  • HE professeth to have knowledge of The MOST HIGH

Then listen to what Solomon has to say:

  •  HE was made to reprove (criticize) our thoughts
  • We are esteemed of HIM as counterfeits: HE abstaineth from our ways as from filthiness: HE pronounceth the end of the just to be blessed, and maketh HIS boast that GOD is HIS father
  • For if the just man be the Son of THE MOST HIGH, HE will help HIM and deliver HIM from the hands of HIS enemies.

And one last thing I would like to point out is when Solomon says;

  •  Let us oppress the poor righteous man, let us not spare the widow, nor reverence the ancient gray hairs of the aged.

This really disrupts everything we thought we knew. Solomon really and truly sounds evil. He is also alleged to be the wisest man in history.

Interestingly, Solomon is a man who was engulfed in the occult, he worshiped multiple gods and was weak for women. And the famous Temple of Solomon is considered to be the spiritual birth place of Freemasonry, a movement that is (at the highest levels) associated with pulling the strings of major global events and argued to be the true controlling power of our world.

Whatever is really going on here, we should certainly research it further.

Below you can watch a documentary on the occult knowledge and mastery of King Solomon;

    • It wasn’t a prophesy, it was a delusion. People have been looking for the meaning of life since the beginning of it, and when they can’t find what they’re looking for, they make it up.

      • The meaning of Life? Simple its too serve God. When you die what do you take with you? Nothing. Therefore, you can only take your soul when you die and to be saved all you have to do is believe in Jesus and that he died for all of our sins as the ultimate sacrifice. To do so, read the bible a lot. It is the Word of God. Do your best to obey the Law of the bible. And remember that God is Love. And Love never fails. God bless you.

          • Some people died before they could get a chance to serve God so what was their meaning? Some are handicap and can’t serve God so what is their meaning? So the meaning has to be more than just to Serve God. Please you have so man animals and insect now and within time that are living with us and can’t serve God.

        • Youre right. Search “Iglesia Ni Cristo” by Felix Y. Manalo. The only church built by Jesus Christ in his last days and continuing up to this day.

        • Hah hah most of the bible is stolen from the Sumerians when the hewbrews were taken as slaves into babylon. Look into proper translations of the Sumerian clay cuneiform tablets ( not translation by zachariah sitchen though) then You will see all of the bibles stories from genesis to noah’s ark but many thousands of years older. No disrespect but You owe it to Yourself to get as close to the One as possible and so much corruption went into bible translations even when books were chosen to make up the New Testament at the Council of Nicea.. so many more accurate gospels were left out and inaccurate ones put in. Considering there were gospels from people who walked with Jesus yet of the Four chosen of Mathew, Mark, Luke and John. Mark was the oldest/closest but still written 83 years after Jesus died and Luke was written 273 years after Jesus died. Do the work and find the truth. Bless.
          Paul

          • You sure are not saying that God did not write it are you! Excuse me I have to go and cry!

          • Paul’s information is simply not true. There are extant editions of manuscripts with Gospel of Luke in Syriac and Greek much earlier than 273 (+30 years) 303? AD.

          • Actually, Its all stolen from Kemet by invaders. All these groups are fighting over stolen property.

          • Pauls information is true but only in relation to the Torah (5 books of Moses… Genesis etc.) and some later prophets such as Daniel are obviously written during the Babylonian captivity. Genesis, Adam and Eve, Noah and the Flood are all just retellings of older Babylonian Stories/histories which were themselves taken from the Sumerians(eg the Enuma Elish).
            Peace!

          • Paul Keeling…”Considering there were gospels from people who walked with Jesus” Can you site these gospels. Never have I ever come across nor heard of such gospels or text, and I’ve done a fair amount of reading on the history accounts of the New Testament.

          • Not sure what you’re point is about the gospels having been written so long after the death of Jesus. It seems you are implying that the men that wrote them lived quite some time after the death of Jesus and therefore their accounts are not to be trusted. This is wrong. It’s not clear exactly when they were written, but they were all alive during the years of the ministry of Jesus. I don’t know where you got your info about some of the gospels being written 200 years after the death of Jesus but likely all of the manuscripts were written within 70 years of the resurrection. We know this because all of the authors were contemporaries of Jesus and none of them recorded the destruction of the temple which happened in A.D.70 so they likely all were written before then or this event would have been recorded.
Matthew and John were 2 of the original 12 disciples. Marks mother was a devote follower of Jesus and her home was used for gatherings of the disciples; Mark was a teenager when Jesus was teaching. Luke was a friend of travelling companion of Paul and is the only one of the 4 gospel authors that did not know Jesus personally. Mark also traveled with Paul and all 3 of them spent much time together with the original disciples and the subsequent disciples. The stories and details were well known and told verbally to many thousands of people in the years directly following the death of Jesus.Despite the fact that they were risking their lives to tell the story of Jesus the disciples would not back down from the facts they were relaying. In fact 10 of the original 12 disciples were brutally murdered for telling the stories and refusing to recant; only Judas who committed suicide and John who died in prison were not murdered for sharing the gospel. There were at least 500 people that testified to seeing and talking with the resurrected Jesus and they risked their lives to do so. If you were alive in the 30 years after the resurrection you could have found these people and talked to them and many did so. Would you allow yourself to be tortured and killed for a lie? It would have been very easy for them to be quite and remain unharmed. All of this makes their accounts very credible. Check out the work of Lee Strobel on this subject. He was an agnostic (or atheist) journalist for the Chicago Tribune who set out to systematically discredit the gospels and in the process became a Christian instead.

          • You are basing it all on ancient accounts of the same ancient accounts mentioned in Genesis by Moses. Genesis is basically pre Judaic history, and recounts the Creation and corruption of Man, and God’s ultimate destruction by way of the Great Flood, which is also recounted in almost every ancient religion, since it was a world-wide event. Abram was not a Jew – he was a pagan from the Mesopotamian city of Ur, who was chosen by God, and renamed Abraham after his covenant with Him. It is a fact, and easily proved, that the entire New Testament, excluding the books of 1,2, and 3 John, and Revelation, were ALL written before the fall of Jerusalem, in 69 A.D. Considering Yeshua ascended in 30 A.D., the Gospels, including Acts, were first-hand accounts, and Paul’s letters to the churches were written when the Disciples were still based in Jerusalem. John, who was exiled to Patmos after being taken captive, wrote 1,2,3 John and Revelation while there. Interestingly, he was the only one who lived out his entire life, dying of old age. My suggestion is, read the scriptures, do read history, and compare notes.

          • Hi Paul,
What about there not being a “J” in the Hebrew language?
… Was his name not Yashua?
… coming from the Almighty Yah.

        • Amen,,,,,most people think the meaning of life is to acquire wealth, hence our World is so evil,we spend billions on arms and starvation is all over the World, the meaning of life is where will your soul go when you die???

          • You are a soul and when you die you are dead. From dust you came and to dust you return. That is why Jesus spoke of a resurrection. Why would you need to resurrect people if they were already in some other place alive?

        • isnt the word of good the same as god just like devil is evil or divide Devi Demi ect strive for the right to survive not the left of survival either form the aim is a positive spirituality as well as the teachings of jesus lesus isis horus baulder buddha and the other many of the right side of surviving and teaching by the blood of will. was to in fact use the magic of healing and the power of will as well as the alchemy of the earth as well as tending protecting and guiding a way of survival that did not include profits only the way to see or prophet pro = advancing phet produce . or advancing a fruitful wisdom .

. more or less christians are afraid to follow the path to seek and to find their spiritual will in more than faith . despite as much asked and invoiced to the spirit most requests are for the lazy effort of central logic and selfish guidance . not the giving of the spirit of joy and healing to fellows and enemies .

        • C wizzles – ‘God’ is love, really? Hmm, maybe you need to actually read ALL of your bible, not just the ‘feel good’ parts you’re handed in church.
          Genesis 7:23 (genocide)
          Jeremiah 51:20-22 (ethnic cleansing)
          Exodus 12:29-30 (infanticide)
          2 Samuel 6:3-7 (murder)
          Ephesians 6:5 (slavery)
          Deuteronomy 21:10-14 (sex trafficking)
          Deuteronomy 20:10-14 (rape)
          Genesis 3 (punishing the innocent)
          John 6:40, Revelation 20:15 (extortion)
Deuteronomy 13:13-19 (killing people of other faiths)
Please don’t bore us with the “out of context” nonsense. Your “unconditionally loving god” not only condones it but commits it.

          • You are not considering that much of early scripture was based in a pre-Judaic time, and describing man’s disobedience to God, usually ending in their destruction. Yes,you are very out of context – YOU need to read the whole Bible, and find out why these stories of mankind’s transgressions are included, and why God had to judge, and even destroy, whole civilizations. Why should you care? Because His judgement will be even more this time, and soon. We all know what is at the end of the Book of Revelation – it will be too late if you find out after.

          • You’re right about that…
I guess they forgot that God sent an evil spirit to Saul when Saul didnt do what God commanded him to do.. God was going to take his kingdom away and give it to David.. David will play his harp and calm Saul..

          • who are you to judge what a creator can n cant do..if he give u life he can take it..he can punish u with the worst …kill u…bring u back to life without any memory of what u endure….so yes GOD is love..you dont limit or judge GOD…..its the SPIRIT that FINDS GOD NOT THE FLESH….and to find GOD,ur way etc….u OBEY THE COMMANDMENTS all 142 of them, surely more than 10…..MOSES LAW NEVER WAS ABOLISHED..so LOGICALLY THE LAW STILL STANDS…

      • Isaiah was a Messianic prophet who, along with others, not only foretold the birth of Christ, but who He was, and what He would do.

  1. Um… Did you read what you copied and pasted from Solomon? The first sentence says that this is what the “ungodly” say to themselves. They are all negative examples. The point is that if you see anyone saying X or doing Y, they are self-serving assholes.

So if we see our politicians forsaking the sick, widowed, and old, surround themselves with luxury and privilege and shun the one who will come and condemn their filth, Solomon is saying we can see them as ungodly.

    • You are correct. He said the ungodly say, “but not aright”, meaning they are wrong, but this is what they say. Then he goes on to say all that the ungodly (unrighteous) say.

      • The article is full of falsehoods. Nothing holds any grain of salt. Only continuing to mislead the uninformed. The writer is not aware that most of the books he or she is claiming to have been removed from the bible, are all in the official Catholic bible called “The Jerusalem Bible”! Just google it & see the books contained in it. Then you will know the writer is feeding you on trash!!

        • So true Oscar there is no proof of Gods existance. Faith, which is explained as to trust in, cling to , and rely upon is a gift that cannot be earned & without faith it’s impossible to please God.
So many have set out to disprove the Bible only to actually read it and either make no sense of it or as with Lee Strobel one time legal editor of the Chicago Tribune newspaper. Who went on to write many books which present very valid “cases” for ( eg Christ, a Creator )
An interesting and little known fact of the entire new testamants etermology whilst not ” proof ” of God eliminates every other book ever written.
Who’s open to the literary challenge that follows these rules.
Write an essay of between 700 & 1000 words where once complete the number of words , vowels & same letter consonants that begin a word are all divisable by 7. The entire new testamant follows these simple guidelines.
Anyone who wants to criticize this most amazing work of incredible genius. Jump in line to accomplish this challenge if you can’t, don’t hang your unfounded dribble on our heavenly fathers integrated message system that was inspired from outside our time domain.

          • I have read Lee Strobel and did not find anything where he had real evidence for anything! Like his assertion that he was an atheist but gives us nothing to base that on except the claim which we do not even know if it is true , that he did not believe in God at one time. Just how much knowledge did he have? Was it I was just a simple I did not believe in God but did know nor had not studied what atheism was based on or studied anything? Then somehow he becomes a believer? He knows his believer audience is not very sophisticated either. They will fall for the simplist argument that confirm what they already believe. I have been through the Bible numerous times and have a huge number of notes and my discussion with Christians has taught that most have never read the book. There are even told not to read but to ask their minister! If people really believed this was the word of God they would be reading to see what God had to tell them. Instead people have to officially believe to be accepted into the community of “good” and acceptable people so therefore they believe like they are expected too believe! Once society get to a sizeable number of nonbelievers religion will go into decline when the social pressure is not demanding that they claim to be believe to be accepted!

        • Oscar…Glad you pointed this out. The Latin Bible was referred to as the “Vulgate” and if one searchs out the books contained in the Vulgate, you will not find these books the author is referring too…..Thanks!

        • While I agree with your comment about the content of the message, the bible you mentioned is not the official Catholic bible. That would be the Latin vulgate. The official English translation is the douy Rheims bible. Both Old Testament versions are translated from the Greek Septuagint , which is the version St. Paul often referred to. It is the Protestants, not the Catholics, who removed the Old Testament books. A simple count of the books in the KJV vs the nrsv Catholic edition will prove it.

    • You so right, Solomon was narrating the thoughts of the ungodly.
So easy to completely miss \mix the narrative ones the first verse is not captured.

    • Exactly! Even I missed that first part. Solomon was saying… “This is what the ungodly say of themselves, though it’s not right”.

It is surely missed by many who can’t decipher the meaning of the words due to the way it was written and translated back in those days.

  2. Hi,
I suggest you to read the lines that come just after thos mentionned in the article :

[21] Thus they reasoned, but they were led astray,
    for their wickedness blinded them,
[22] and they did not know the secret purposes of God,
nor hope for the wages of holiness,
    nor discern the prize for blameless souls;
[23] for God created man for incorruption,
and made him in the image of his own eternity,
[24] but through the devil’s envy death entered the world,
and those who belong to his party experience it.

Solomon were reporting sayings of misled people.

You can see the whole version in the following link : http://quod.lib.umich.edu/cgi/r/rsv/rsv-idx?type=DIV1&byte=3905445

Thus it is true that many books have been removed from the bible from the early history of christianity. It is a good question to ask ourselves why have they been removed ?

Having briefly studied it,texts that have been removed mainly introduce a notion of dualism between the body and the spirit, the existence of some kind of divinity within everybody, and the ability to find it by good ethic prayers and meditation. Those theory does not comply with the hypothesis of christ as the one and only son of god and the necessity for humanity to keep waiting for the next messiah, the “savior”.

Authorities (religious one included) does not want you to know that you can spiritualy evolve and access a superior knowledge by yourself, they prefer that you keep following a chief or a god and that you wait for the next instructions.

    Keep meditating.

    Learn and transmit,

    Good luck

    • “Having briefly studied it,texts that have been removed mainly introduce a notion of dualism between the body and the spirit, the existence of some kind of divinity within everybody, and the ability to find it by good ethic prayers and meditation. Those theory does not comply with the hypothesis of christ as the one and only son of god and the necessity for humanity to keep waiting for the next messiah, the “savior”.”

Very briefly, it seems. None of the early heretical texts in Christianity even begin to point to pantheism, and the only Christian group of the time that practiced a strict mind-body dichotomy was the Gnostics; a group which famously modeled its religious mode off of the Greek Mystery cults, passing on secret knowledge by word of mouth, thus not writing any of it down. There were no controversial books ripped from the bible… Because the bible wasn’t canonized until 382 at the Synod of Rome, and again later at the Councils of Hippo and Carthage; so technically, a book can’t be “removed” from the Bible before that point, when it was officially clarified for the Church (because before then it was just a bunch of letters bundled together collectively known to be “The Word”). But even in the second century, there was a broad consensus, across Africa, Italy, Palestine and Greece, that the New Testament was as it’s current state, with only a few bishops disputing Revelations, Hebrews, 3 John and 2 Peter.

The so-called “Lost Gospels” such as gThomas, gJudas and gMary, do not support the ideas you purport, outside gThomas which might have been a Gnostic text, some scholars argue. But most scholars agree that the earliest either of those texts appeared was the mid second century, which is a whole 30 years after the last Canonical book was written and began circulating (because we have bishops from Ephesus and from Hippo citing gJohn and Revelation as early as 130AD).

So, the only books removed from the Bible were removed, not in the early history, but in very recent history, when Martin Luther (16th c) removed the Deuterocanon of the Old Testament and attempted to remove James, Hebrews and Revelation (3 of the 7 New Testament Dueterocanonicals) before his peers convinced him to temper his fanaticism.

    • Absolutely the truth, they want to continue to deceive us from that truth being discovered, because once we figure it all out, they can’t control us anymore.

    • so we follow a bunch of villains who wrote the book but constantly contradicted the laws of god . as perfection cant be (GODS BOOMING VOICE OF LAWS ..THO SHAL NOT KILL “Oops i made a mistake kill them but kill no more.. of the… oh wait kill them too .. dang .. wait! kill these as well *AHEM* IN THE NAME OF GOD THOU.. tho shal.. Oh! dangit kill them too..

Rather than follow the spiritually obtained teachings of a man who was closer to ability and wisdom as the Christ\Avatar was himself. and yes i get it jesus jesus jesus .. try reading and LOOKING into how many claimed the same .virgin born, spoke to god, had abilities were smarter than the average mind before its time,.. or shone bright like a star

.. look into the 16 other crucified saviors. they were not kidding when they said “hunted the first born sons” as to that whom was first born would be the children of the creator . the creators sons. the virgin born children the jewish kings and roman emperors feared and hunted. that star wasn’t just Jesus’s the 600ad and 1100ad was very busy times for many areas of the world

  3. Hello, your critics are not just! why? well… first the quote begins like this: “1.For the ungodly said reasoning with them selves, but not aright…” which means these were not the words of Solomon, but of the ungodly ones!!! And the chapter has 3 more paragraphs. The following paragraphs, from where you put and end to your quote, says this about the words that were used before:
“21.Such things they did imagine and were deceived: for their own wickedness has blinded them.
    22. As for the mysteries of God, they knew them not: neither hoped they for the wages of righteousness, nor discerned a reward for blameless souls.
    23. For God created man to be immortal and made him to be an image
    of his own eternity.
    24. Nevertheless through envy of the devil came death into the world: and those who do hold of his side do find it.”

Therefore, why you do take out of context the words of God, that the Great Man Solomon wrote for us to know about His Son, Jesus Christ?
It is not nice of you to do so…
Please, before you post such shameful things, take into consideration that there are people out there that are still reading the Word of God and cannot be misled!!!

God may forgive you and bless you!

    • I would like for you to answer this… how could the Virgin Mary be a Virgin when Jesus had older brothers and sisters? How did the world populate when it was just Adam and Eve? I can continue but please start with this.

      • I can help with that. I know this is gonna sound weird, but in the hebrew brothers and sisters means cousins also. Jesus was the only child of st. Mary. However st. Mary had a sister who was also called marry (in the bible she is mentiined as the wife of clopas, or the mother of James, and she has another name too but i dont remember it. Anyhow, that only answers half the question, because eveb if cousins are called brothers in the arameic language, what proof do we have that she did nit have other children. But there r two things to note here. St. Mary, whenever she was mentioned she was always called Mary the mother of Jesus. While her sister who had four sons (all are mentioned in the bible, 2 of which where disciples) was often called as the mother of (and the name of one of the for sons) or as the wife of clopas. Also when Jesus was on the cross, if he had any brothers, why would he ask st. John to take care of her and treat her is his mother? It makes no sense. …

Now about the 14 books. The orthodox church upholds 12 of them. The other two are not upheld. The catholic church changed its Bible after the Jews changed the books that they agree with. Before they considered all these books canonical, and in 1100s they decided that some of them are not canonical so the catholic church followed suit. The orthodox church however rejects that thought, because these books were canonical at the time of Jesus and the early church, and also Jesus makes a few references to them (i believe-dont take my word for that one)

As for Adam and eve issue (actually as disgusting as this sounds in our modern day) their sons and daughter kinda married each other) that practice continued to be normal for a long time until it was not ok anymore (probably with the law that moses received. I dont remember where it was stopped.)

Let me look that up and get back to you.
If u have other questions please do ask them, if i dont answer them somebody else might…

        • The adam and eve thing. Those 2 humans were made perfect. So i imagine even being inbred for 500 generations would make those people still way smarter and healthier with genes closer to perfection. some people lived for 400 years.

        • Tina…….. I understood that Mary the mother of Jesus was a virgin.. Jesus was the son of the Holy spirit. Joseph took her of course for his wife because she was a pregnant girl….. also because an angel told him to marry her. After Jesus was born she had other children Josephs children which were Jesus’s half brothers. Joseph was an old man he may have had other children before he married Mary however,he definitely had younger sons with Mary after Jesus was born and they followed his teachings and became disciples.

        • There were other people in the world outside of the garden of Eden…. that is why when Cain was kicked out of Eden he went and found a wife in the land of Nod

          • Look bible did not say some people exits apart from cain and abel so where did you find this who is folling who you said it was written by only spirit why confusion and omit

          • when Adam & Eve was created–BEFORE sin interred in. At first (even after leaving the Garden) their bodies were pure. No sickness or disease. Brothers & sisters HAD to marry. It wasn’t called incest then. G-d made only 1 couple, then He told them to multiply–which means children. AND while in the garden. G-d knew that brothers & sisters would have to get together. NOW–with so much sickness & disease in the world these pass few thousand years, they should NEVER get together. There has been a lot of crap passed down.

      • Oh, there are HUNDREDS of contradictions and no one can answer them because the bible is a fairy tale. Did it rain for 40 days and 40 nights or 120 days and nights? The Bible states both. What did Noah feed the lions on the ark? Why was Adam plunked down on the earth all alone and Eve was an afterthought that had to be created from his rib… especially since we now know that ALL HUMAN BEINGS are at least half FEMALE (X chromosomes)? Why weren’t Adam and Eve allowed to eat from the tree of KNOWLEDGE?…

        • You could quite literally find every answer on those things in about 15 minutes doing some BING searching.
“Noone can answer them” <— (-_-)smh

        • I agree. The Bible contradicts itself so many times that it’s almost hilarious. It was written by men who are flawed. It’s nothing more then a “history” book that’s been rewritten over n over in different languages way to many times. So who knows what’s right and wrong in it.

          • If you’ve never read the book with discernment you can’t go claiming these things.
People love to read books, and when their minds go to sleep for a few paragraphs or chapters they yawn and refocus.
But The Word of God is worth our full attention. And the Bible does not let us down, the confusion you find is your own. Yet, answers DO exist; the question is are you satisfied with the lies the world is feeding you?

          • who wrote the bible? and who gave him / her the information . i f someone walked up to you today and told you that a guy died last friday and was walking around on monday … would you believe them using common logic ,,,, and if the word virgin was a mistranslation of the word maiden how would that reflect on a virgin birth …..and what do u think about most of the roman catholic religion being made up of a collection of fables from various pagan religions at the council of Nicea by an english roman Constantine all a bunch of madness!!

        • Please send me a scripture that says Jesus was born non the 25/12!! And my father died on the 19/05/98 every year since then his date of death doesn’t change, even the month, but why with the so-called “Jesus” keep changing? This year he died in April last year he died in March next year will die in March I guess or June??? Any clarity on this

          • Please research the Hebrew lunar calendar. around the sixth century AD the gregorian calendar was adopted universally in the west, and the Hebrew calendar (that God gave to keep count of Sabbaths) has been denied publicity ever since.

      • You can’t be this stupid Joseph was a widow and had kids before he was with Mary so Jesus had brothers and sisters but not through Mary

      • It doesn’t say they were older, only that He had brothers and sisters. Of course, it is only natural to know that He was the eldest.

      • The Hebrew word for ‘young maiden’ (alma) was mistranslated to mean ‘virgin’. Therefore, Mary was not a virgin, but a ‘young woman/lady’.

        • Ruby, the Bible is clear, the mother of The Christ didn’t “know man” before the birth of Yeshua. If she did, it wouldn’t have been her husband, and she would’ve been made to marry the man she “knew.”
Yet, she did not “know” man until after Christ’s birth and her consummation to Joseph.

      • What gave you the idea he did? Mary and Joseph were not married, and even giving birth to Jesus would have made her an outcast if Joseph didn’t defend her. He had younger half-brothers, yes. James was the closest born to him and leader of the early ‘church’. How you ever thought he had older siblings is curious, as it is easily disproved in scripture.

    • I really appreciate That! They are people who are posting things on these social networks just to discourage Christian, and what they do is; they write half of the thext or hide where the story start or end just to play with our belief! God bless people who believe in Jesus.

  4. This entire verse is written from the perspective of the “ungodly”

1 For the ungodly said reasoning with them selves, but not aright, our life is short and tedious and in death of a man there is no remedy: neither was there any man known to have returned from the grave.

    • And the Vatican does not want us to know about what to do to ‘the ungodly’, because they are the ones Jesus was condemning for taxing ‘the people’, but the priests – being the key-holders of the Truth – locked out ‘the people’; thereby denying them access to the Truth. Which is why Jesus did his teachings outside where ALL who desired, had access to God’s Kingdom without paying a tithe or ransom and being deceived or only given partial truths.

  5. these 14 books are not in the holy bible because they are not inspirated bij de Holy Spirit. these 14 books are called apocrieves. you can learn from them but won’t led you in the path to God/Wisdom. and the books in the holy bible are called cannonieke books. they are leading you to God because they are inspirated bij the three divines.

  6. utter rot. Catholic bibles still have the apocrypha. Protestant bibles do not. The crux of the matter is that these books exist in Greek and Latin translation, not in the Hebrew originals. Hence they are not recognised by Jews either.

  7. Whoever wr0te this is a t0tal m0r0n. Th0se parts and b00ks are all still in the Cath0lic Bible, if y0u had ever stopped t0 check. Als0, learn t0 reaD, that p0rti0n fr0m Wisd0m is clearly stated t0 be S0l0m0n quoting the wicked and reproving their reasoning… it’s n0t S0l0m0n saying th0se things, it’s S0l0m0n qu0ting the wicked.

    • It seems the author was simply releasing his/her fashionably anti-Catholic venom much the way a defecating dog cleanses the anal gland. Ah, modern journalism . . .

    • These books are in the Dead Sea Scrolls which proves they are part of the sacred inspired Old Testament scripture.

The Jews who threw them out did that after the fall of Jerusalem in 70 AD. Yes, the same Jews who rejected Jesus Christ as Messiah and Lord then turned around and rejected those books. They rejected them because they said they were not written in Hebrew. Well the Dead Sea Scrolls, found in the twentieth century, proved that they were indeed part of the Hebrew scriptures. Yeah, those who deny Jesus are usually not on the side of truth, are they?

And it was the Protestants who threw these books out of the bible. So they sided with the Jews who rejected Christ. Go figure. As usual, the Catholic Church is on the side of truth.

      • Ha ha no I think that You will find that it was a pope who called the council of nicea who chose the books to go into the new testament. Protestants only appeared during the rule of Henry VIII in England lol

  8. I am unsure of the wicked picture of Solomon, son of David. I think the figure of speech, son of god, has much to do with it. Note, for example, in the gospel of Thomas, it is written that when you know your selves, then you will know that you are the sons of the living Father. So, now, Solomon 2:1, “For the ungodly said reasoning with them selves, but not aright, our life is short and tedious…” is the perspective of the ungodly. And whenever “we” appear, it is about the ungodly’s perspective. And, Son of the most high is Solomon, himself, in the text. In other texts, you will see god being referred to as light and those who shun the world as children of light. Actually, in Aramaic, Ellah is not a name because none came before Him to name Him. Time itself is His creature following His command. Ellah means the one worthy of all worship; it is a meaning.

In the text, the ungodly were talking about killing Solomon with a shameful death because Solomon did not identify his self with his body as the ungodly identified the end of their body with the end of their spirit.

  9. Aside from the Prayer of Manassah, all of those exist in the Catholic Bible today as Canon. 1 Esdras was named Ezra and 2 Esdras was named Nehemiah. It’s 3 and 4 Esdras that were rejected, even though they are canon in the Russian Orthodox Church. In fact, the Old Testament reading this past Sunday in mass was in Eccliastasticus, which is also called Sirach in most Catholic Bibles.

The Catholic Church never took those texts out of scripture. The ones that are still there, are the same ones determined to be Proto and Deutero Canon at the Synod of Rome in 382 AD. What you might be referring to is the fact that Seven of those books, the Deuterocanon of the Catholic Church, was rejected by the early reformer of Protestantism, Martin Luther. He famously cut out Judith, Tobit, Sirach, Wisdom, 1 and 2 Maccabbees and Baruch, as well as the additions to Daniel and Esther that you mention, like the stories of Susanna, Bel and the Dragon, etc.

So it seems you’re rather uninformed on the issue. I would recommend reading and re searching a little deeper next time, before publishing a sensationalist article full of nonsense. It deeply discredits online journalism. My Duoy-Rheims Bible, a Catholic Bible, has all the stories and books you’ve listed, with the exception of Manasseh (which wasn’t included in the initial set of Deutercanonical texts clarified at any of the Western Synods, Hippo, Carthage or Rome, in the latter quarter of the 4th century).

    • Well atleast its got people talking and informing each other which is the true way of learning anyways thx for your input, when people get proper input it stops all the bad advice going around. God bless you.

    • Absolutely correct. My Catholic bible also has these books. This ‘author’ did a pathetic job at attempting to smear the church and mislead. Once again, don’t believe everything you read, people. This article is so bad that it is laughable.

    • With due respect to your position and personality, I think it’s wrong to say this write-up is ‘full of nonsense’ when i, for one, am just learning through it that the Bible I have been made to believe is one and only words of God is in fact mutilated and significantly tampered with. Much as I won’t subscribe to the writer’s message or motive, I can’t seem to get over the coherence in the write-up and and the responses from you guys who appear knowledgeable in this divinity studies that tampering actually took place. I am still gasping for breath. As you also seem to have agreed, there have been removals, mergers, reinventings etc over the course of time. All of these are full-circle contradictions to all the teachings I have received since childhood. It tells me very clearly, at least, that nothing seems incontrovertible…including my faith

      • That was powerful Tee, and so true… I was brought up Catholic and when I learned of all the tampering and downright mutilation that has been done to the bible I, too, was floored and blown away, hence began my spiritual journey… thanks for your honesty and openness.

  10. ‘For the unGodly said ….’ Not what Soleman said. He’s quoting others, or rather accounting for the sentiment at that time. It does raise interesting questions about timelines though

  11. Such uneducated, poorly researched crap! What facts are here have been manipulated into a very misleading narrative. I’m not defending the RC Church for historic atrocities or child abuse, nor other Christian & religious extremists. But get the facts, folks. This is salacious & irrelevant information patched together without logic or real continuity. Be aware of the author’s agenda.

    • it’s funny how those who taught the gospel practiced more evil than those being taught ..so it makes me think if those teaching were this wicked how do you expect me to believe them..
I’m African , the missionaries that came to Africa adored slavery never bothered to fight for our freedom just told us to read the Bible …very godly …it was a non Christians who fought heavily against slavery
it makes you wonder ..then I realized the Bible has been tainted by evil men’s agendas to be supreme and oppress those they feel like

now the Christians will start justifying their actions or give excuses …but my question to them is can they find it anywhere in the Bible that God hates slavery?.
      the answer is NO !
he rather gave rules on how to treat your slaves
I wonder if you were slave back then if you would enjoy it?

      • I have tried to come to terms with that myself. As you see all the so called bible scholars blew right past your comment. SMH

        • Be fair. The British Anti-slavery movement was headed by Evangelical Christians like William Wilberforce. They were pretty reactionary on other matters, but good on slavery.
Mind you, I doubt whether they would have succeeded had British capitalism not developed to the point where it needed the profits of slave production (including the trade in slaves) no longer.

      • No need to wonder. The Bible has many examples of how slaves were treated. And it was nothing like 18th century slavery. Slaves might be in charge of household finances, teach the master’s children, go to market for the master, or any number of other jobs. Some slaves preferred slavery to freedom, which is what the verse about nailing the ear to the door was about. Deut 15:16
And it shall be, if he say unto thee, I will not go away from thee; because he loveth thee and thine house, because he is well with thee; 17 Then thou shalt take an aul, and thrust it through his ear unto the door, and he shall be thy servant for ever. And also unto thy maidservant thou shalt do likewise.

        • Even then, there was appalling exploitation of slaves, possibly worse than in the future American cotton fields, in the mineral mines of the ancient world.

      • Slavery appears to be their intent. Religion appears to be the weapon. They knew the power of coordination and resilience in religion, that’s why it was important to subdue our hard-fighting but out-weaponed fore fathers from practicing the African traditional values and faiths. They replaced Africa’s incorruptible religion with two major religions that are actually instruments of colonialism. They took away the mother tongue that spur the internal combustion of scientific thinking and innovations. The religion preaching created the division, diversion and ultimately resulted in the inglorious defeat and the thousands of years of rapes, slavery, depletion and looting of Africa. The language ensured the obliterations of the rich history and created the gaps between ancestors and their offsprings. History cannot be suppressed forever! One day, true account of how Europe utilised the same but perfected Roman tactics to mastermind and underdevelop Africa. Thanks to prosperity that at least major disagreements are starting to well up among our traducers. They scrambled and evaporated the human and material resources of Africa to create the grounds for the so-called industrial revolution. The same looters are the ones saying Africa is the least-developed region of the world. Africans have always worshipped God. In Yorubaland, we call him Olodumare. The craft was to forcefully deceive us that the messanger and deities through which our fathers worshiped God and never faltered were idolatrous and diabolical. May God forgive them, if he can.

*** Like others of similar message, i won’t be surprised if this comment is not allowed to see the light of the day***

      • It was the Muslims who invaded Africa who captured and sold slaves to the British colonies, and continue to do so today! Christian missionaries are fighting slavery, and even buying back women and children taken into slavery in Darfour. Please, you must state truth, not ideological propaganda. Millions of children’s lives in Africa depend on it. Please look up Open Doors website,

  12. We need some clarification on the books and added chapters of books listed. The Roman Church, until the time of the Reformation, had all these included in the Bible. The Catholic Bible is based on the Septuagint, the official Greek translation of the Old Testament dating to the second century BC. It is likely that Jesus was familiar with the Septuagint. The Septuagint contains these writings, and they were printed and published in English when the King James Bible was issued in 1611. However, due to printing costs, they were eventually omitted.

Over the centuries there have been various opinions on the value of these writings, known by Orthodox/Catholics as “The Deuterocanonicals” (the second list), and by Reformed/Protestants as “The Apocrypha” (the hidden, or spurious books). St. Jerome, for instance, placed them in between the Old and New Testaments when he officially translated the scriptures into Latin. I believe Luther did likewise when he translated the scriptures into German. Nowadays you have to hunt for an authentic Catholic/Orthodox Bible containing these books and chapters. They nearly always cost more than the cheaply produced Protestant Bibles.

Apart from the content or moral teachings of the writings, this is the real information on them.

    • This is the best explanation. The Church never removed those books! They remain in the Catholic Nible. Martin Luther removed them. Someone needs to research instead of believing the article!

  13. Are you insane? The second paragraph of your article contains too many historically factual errors to list in this space and it just keeps going.

  14. As a freemason, I would like to know why you contend that freemasonry is ” a movement that is (at the highest levels) associated with pulling the strings of major global events and argued to be the true controlling power of our world.”

I have seen nothing of this here in NSW.

Can you prove this to me please?

  15. As far as I know about the “jesus” pronunciation is that j was used in latin like the word jvvntus(iuventus) and latter on the “i” was introduced. Ichtios was another name from greeks for Jesus and the latin form Iesus but the nord part of Eu was reading from the latin text Jesus with J no with I, its just a mistake that was passed down by generations. In the eastern europen they pronounce it with an I.
The hebrew for is Yeshua as it is writen on a 5 pointed star the individual letters: Yod, He, Shin, Vav, He.
What is interesting is that Shin has the form of a crown and without shin it only: yod he vav he meaning Yehova.
The 5 pointed star teaches us about the achivement of nobility in man(crown) when he begins to hold control over the 4 elements that constitutes our world.

  16. Yes it wasn’t the Catholic Church which removed these texts from the Canon of scripture it was Martin Luther who didn’t include them as they are not part of the original Hebrew canon which of course is the original source from which he produced his German version which predates subsequent English translations.

The Catholic Church actually produced the original vernacular edition in the 700’s CE.It is in Vulgate Latin which was the lingua franca of the day. It did and does contain these additional
    Books.

In the revised common lectionary these books are now included in the regular Sunday morning readings so their rightful place has been restored to the whole church.

One final note the Jews do not consider the whole of the Hebrew Scriptures as the “Word of God”.Only the Torah is given that distinction the rest are inspired.

  17. Iseus is not pronounced Yahshua it is pronounced Jesus. If you knew Greek you would know how to pronounce it.

Joshua is the Hebrew name of Jesus. Yet everyone even in his day on earth called him Jesus as Greek was the dominant language. Just as English is dominant today in this world.

    • actually….it is not yahshua….it is spelled Y’shua….the “y” is pronounced as…”YE”….then add…”SHUA”….hence the name….Yeshua….

  18. He is speaking metaphorically about he who proclaimeth himself to be righteous. People who are so busy trying to observe every letter of the law, that their life becomes an imprisonment and a discussion of the law, they forget to live for themselves, and become pre-occupied with judging others. Or, in common sense English terms they who have ‘the wrong end of the stick’.

    • Accordingly the Ethopian Bible is more ancient and possess the truth more than the Latin version Since we know the Queen of Sheba reigned there and eden was also in Ethopia also known as Cush in the Bible.

      • You want ancient and original watch Gerald Clark on YouTube and You will find the ORIGINAL transcriptions in the Cuneiform before the Ancient Hebrew or Ancient Aramaic etc You can trace Your bible history to a staggering four hundred and fifty thousand years !!
Hows that for ORIGINAL and You will find it all from Genesis, Noahs Ark and much much more. Blessed be.

  19. To the author of this text, you are so sadly misinformed and did such a bad job of research that you should be ashamed of yourself. As was pointed out above, all but two of these books remain canonical in the Catholic bible.

Do you know who yanked these books? Martin Luther. Indeed, Luther wanted to delete entire sections of the epistle of James because James emphasized the fact that faith without works is dead.

If you had any integrity, you would delete this piece of poorly researched trash, and do a much better job in the future.

  20. Actually, not quite right… those books ARE in the bible! If you have a Catholic edition… It’s the Protestant and Jewish version of the bible and that doesn’t have “1 Esdras, 2 Esdras, Tobit, Judith, The rest of Esther, The Wisdom of Solomon, Ecclesiasticus, Baruch with the epistle Jeremiah, The Songs of the 3 Holy children, The history of Susana, bel and the dragon, The prayer for Manasses, 1 Maccabees and 2 Maccabees”. You’re quite welcome to come round and check my copies of said books if you don’t believe me…

    • Liz Koppert is dead right! The Catholic Church hasn’t removed those books from the bible at all. It is actually the protestant churches that removed them from their bibles. Those books are still in the Catholic bibles.

    • This is the truth – those 14 books are known as Deuterocanonical – of secondary canonicity (correctness, from Latin word Canon which means “reed” straight.) They were always questioned, known as “Apocryphal” = doubtful and mostly omitted from Protestant Bibles. The preface to the Apocrypha in the Geneva Bible explained that while these books “were not received by a common consent to be read and expounded publicly in the Church,” and did not serve “to prove any point of Christian religion save in so much as they had the consent of the other scriptures called canonical to confirm the same,” nonetheless, “as books proceeding from godly men they were received to be read for the advancement and furtherance of the knowledge of history and for the instruction of godly manners.”
They are retained in Roman Catholic bibles such as Douay Rheims (1955 edition) in which they are incorporated in the O.T. Canon; The Revised Standard Version (1973 Ecumenical Edition) has a middle section between Malachi and Matthew for the “Apocryphal/ Deutero-canonical Books” so it depends on the editorial policy. These do not appear in Protestant translations – and neither is there any important doctrinal material in them – 1 & 1 Macchabees are an account of the war against Antiochius and ultimate victory – shortlived as it was. The value of the other books is dubious, albeit that there is some Godly wisdom in some and legendary material in others.

  21. HOGWASH!! Clearly anti-Catholic article! Seven of the 14 books you claim were REMOVED by Catholics are ONLY left IN the Catholic Biblee!! Martin Luther, during his revolution REMIVED seven books!! LEARN about thise things you wish to write! ?

  22. WRONG….IT WAS NOT THE CATHOLIC CHURCH WHO REMOVED THESE BOOKS…..IT WAS KING JAMES…..WHO FOUND OUT THAT DURING THE CANONIZATION OF THE BIBLE…..CATHOLICS WERE PRESENT…WHO INCLUDED THESE BOOKS….SO HE KICKED OUT ALL WHO WERE CATHOLIC AND ALSO KICKED OUT THE BOOKS THAT THE CATHOLICS WERE TRYING TO INCLUDE….HOWEVER….KING JAMES MISSED ONE BOOK…..HE FAILED TO KICK OUT THE BOOK OF ESTHER….BUT THAT WAS BECAUSE THAT BOOK PREDATED THE OTHER BOOKS AND ASSUMED IT BELONGED THERE…

MANY YEARS LATER…..WHEN THE DEAD SEA SCROLLS WERE FOUND…THEY SAW ALL THE INCLUDED BOOKS OF THE CANON…BUT NOT THE BOOK OF ESTHER….IT WAS MISSING….NEITHER HAD ANY PROPHETS MENTIONED ANY PART OF IT ….NOR THE FIRST 5 BOOKS…..NOR JESUS….

TODAY….THOSE VERY BOOKS THAT THE CATHOLIC CHURCH TRIED TO INCLUDE BUT WERE KICKED OUT….ARE NOW INCLUDED IN THEIR CATHOLIC BIBLE….

AND THE BOOK OF ESTHER WHICH SHOULD NOT BE IN THE BIBLE HAS SPAWNED SEVERAL TRADITIONS AND HOLIDAYS…THAT ARE NEVER MENTIONED IN THE TORAH….NOR THE PROPHETS….

  23. I’ve only heard this from a scholar, I haven’t studied it but apparently historical documents show no evidence there there ever was a King David. Go figure hey!

  24. Soloman was talking about the true Son of GOD not Jesus. The catholics changed the name and the image. Jesus was not the true name. Jesus was added in 1611. Study for yourselves and discover the hidden truth. The slaves never heard of Jesus until they got on a slave ship. Native Americans spoke aramaic/hebrew. Names do matter. Laws have been forgotten. Ask yourselves why do they have european names in Bible. Think?

  25. I hear a lot of talk about contradictions in the Bible. No self respecting person; much less anyone who identifies as Christian, would entertain such an outlandish, preposterous claim. What is the Bible? It is a collection of accounts that detail God’s life. ALL, that is written in the Bible, by the hands of men, as God’s divine instruments, is without error. We know these truths.
Are there parts that SEEM to contradict?? Yes, but all the answers have been given to us already. God didn’t write a question and answer book: He wrote the story of His life so that we could learn and apply the lessons contained therein. Need I remind you, that entertaining the idea of a perfect Being making mistakes collapses upon itself.witself. We hold that God is perfect. Everything He created is perfect. So why would God allow discrepancies to happen with His book? Does this enormous oversight seem like it it is in keeping with the Creator’s modus opernadi?

  26. Hi everyone. I’m Ernan from The Philippines. As I thoroughly reading your comments about the eliminated books in the Catholic Bible, I’ve got an old Bible at my house and I searched the books which were eliminated. Suprisingly, those books where present except for the book of The Song of Manasses. Compared to my new english bible, some books were retained and some were eliminated. Thank you and God bless us all.

    • There IS an edition with those books. It’s called the CATHOLIC DOUAY VERSION. In other words, the author of this article LIED.

  27. Hello everyone,
I’ve just checked in my 2014 edition of the Holy Bible, with a new translation designed for proclamation during holy Eucharists an other celebrations in French-speaking countries. Except for the Song of Manasses, all other books are present. The Ecclesiasticus has been renamed thanks to recent studies the Book of Qohelet, but the writings remain the same. The contradictions that are mentioned correspond to various moments in the Hebrews’ history. Take the example of psalms. You can sometimes read about a vengeful Lord and later of a most benevolent forgiving One. Theses differences serve for the edification of the faithful at different moments in their lives.

  28. This article is so full of misinformation I don’t know where to start.

    1) The Bible translated in 1611 is the King James Version. It is not a Catholic Bible. It was not translated from Latin, but from Hebrew, Greek and Chaldean. It is not the first English translation, nor even CLOSE to it.

And the books you are referring to are in every Catholic Bible. They are no longer in most PROTESTANTS Bibles. They are called the Deuterocanonicals or the Apocrypha. You can look it up.

Martin Luther took them out of the Old Testament and placed them between the Testaments. The 1611 King James also placed them there. The Catholic and Orthodox Churches have always kept them as part of the Old Testament.

They are, indeed, not in MOST editions of the King James since 1684, but 1) You can find editions with them, if you look; and 2) That’s NOT A CATHOLIC BIBLE.

Before you wrote this, couldn’t you have at least Googled? Or gone to Bible Gateway and looked at the Table of Contents?

Here, here’s the Book of Wisdom from the current Catholic Bible (the New American Bible) courtesy of the website of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops:

    http://www.usccb.org/bible/wisdom/1

  29. The name Jesus never existed until 1611, mek ur research well. The Israelite no matter hw dey were slaved never lost their language, they spoke majorly Hebrew nd Aramaic, even Yeshua spoke Aramaic not greek or Latin, the truth still remain that there was a meeting in the council of Nisei other by pope Constantine on wen to worship, images to worship nd as a result the name Jesus came into play, name of two gods joined to form Jesus Christ. The roman church ?has committed so much atrocities from their history of existence, check history well nd do not support lies introduced by the roman empire.

    • Hi ! Fee we are on the same page that no man ever existed by the name jesus up until Constantine calle 318 bishops in 325AD, thats where Jesus was created, from the Deity of King Alexandra ( Serapis Christus) so thats where Jesus was created from, yet the person who lived on earth and did what they say it was done by jesus, was actually done by African from Egypt by the name of Horus son on Osiris and Isis the virgin not Marry

  30. U guys have equally forgotten that Luther was a roman scholar before he protested nd the church ?wanted him dead nd he flew to France or is dat history false too

  31. This is not surprising read 1st kings 11
And it is more missing books than that, where is the books of Yasher, aka Jasher?
Where is the book of Hanok, aka Enock both of which are mentioned in scripture?

  32. Did anyone happen to notice that it says, “Let us oppress the poor righteous man, let us not spare the widow, nor reverence the ancient gray hairs of the aged.
This could be talking about ‘Jesus’ – the Oppressed Man, ‘Mary Magdalen’, – His Widow, and ‘Mary’, the Virgin, and ‘Joseph’, her Husband – nor reverence the Gray Hairs of the Aged.
This could be referring to the Crucifixion, or the Plan thereof.

  33. Anyone who is truly enlightened wouldn’t say things in such convoluted ways. They’d be clear and say what they are trying to impart in alternative ways so as to add clarity. This is all such nonsense.

  34. Peace to all… The Holy Bible is made to read and believe what is written there, not to be debated. Read these verse.. Matthew 7:21-25. Hope all understand these verse spiritually.. God Bless.

  35. The Vatican didn’t remove those 14 books.

All but the last three of those books are known as the deuterocanonical books, and are considered canonical by Catholics and included to this day in the Catholic Bible.

They are also regarded as canonical in the Eastern Orthodox Church, the Oriental Orthodox Church, and the Church of the East.

They are, however, considered non-canonical by most Protestant denominations.

Nevertheless, Protestant Bibles do often include all of these these books in a separate section called he Apocrypha.

In the Catholic church, the council of Hippo in 393, and the third (or sixth) council of Carthage in 397 included the deuterocanonical books when they determined the catholic canon of the Holy Scriptures.

The canon was sanctioned in the sixteenth century by the council of Trent, and has remained undisturbed ever since.

    Facts do matter.

  36. Gotta say, this is the stupidest article on the Apocrypha I’ve read in a long time.

Roman Catholics and Episcopalians’ Bibles have 80 books: KJV, RSV/NRSV, TEV and others still print them today. In 1611, the King James Version/Authorized Version was published in England, based on previous English translations of the Bible, as well as the Hebrew and Greek texts that were available at the time. More documents have been found since and scholarship has found some translations errors that have been corrected or have been acknowledged as Hebrew and Greek words whose meaning has not yet been determined. (Ancient Hebrew was written without spacing, vowels or upper/lower case. The Classic example is How do you read “GODISNOWHERE”

As for the “books of the Bible” that were not included early on, it didn’t work that way. The Christian version of the Bible wasn’t canonized until the Council of Rome, AD 500. The first list of the books of the New Testament as we have them today was in the Ad 367 Easter Letter of St. Athansius of Alexandria. The books of the Hebrew scriptures (Old Testament) were not canonized until AD 90 at the rabbinic Council of Jamnia.

Many, if not most of the books that didn’t make it into the essential books that constitute the OT & NT canons are still available to read today. Some of the best are the writings of the Early Church Fathers and the Desert Fathers. Others are more strange than wonderful. It’s important to remember that authorship wasn’t the hard and fast rule it is today, so just because a Gospel, for instance, has a name (Thomas, Matthew, etc.) doesn’t necessarily mean that the man you think wrote it actually wrote – but that didn’t matter to the Christians community – it was the content that mattered, even when it contradicted the content of other Gospels. (The four canonical Gospels don’t agree on the events on Easter Day. Go figure. The first 2 chapters of Genesis disagree on whether Adam was created before or after the animals. Go figure.)

  37. Very interesting, but neither Solomon nor David ever existed. Not a shred of evidence to the contrary. Fictitious characters of mythology. Furthermore, if he was to have existed, how could he possibly be considered judaism’s wisest man when he was regularly raping at least 700 women and enslaving thousands to build his fictitious temple? Wise people do not keep other human beings in bondage. Wise people do not rape – not even once, let alone 700 women.

    • This isn’t new. It is known that Solomon was apart of the occult and worship others because he couldn’t wait on God. He wanted to access more. That’s why his kingdom was torn in two.

  38. I don’t think you read that first paragraph right that’s not Salomon saying all that that Solomon saying what the evil said to him

  39. Here is a pdf download of the King James Bible from 1611 bible with the 14 “Apocrypha” books

    file:///C:/Users/Sander/Documents/Bible/King%20James%20Bible%201611%20Apocrypha.pdf

  40. Wisdom of Solomon 2:1
FOR THE UNGODLY SAID, reasoning with themselves, but NOT ARIGHT…

So you, dummies, missed this right? The very first line, you missed?

The very first text that you read, tells you who “SAID” what. Satan sent you, not Our Father. Your article is so filled with evil either because of your lack of understanding or because you’re stupid and evil yourself. You are misleading people. How did you even get a job to write an article that you clearly LACK understanding in? Is that not foolish? How embarrassing.

Allow me to help you. Let’s begin by PAYING ATTENTION TO THE WORDS THAT WE READ:
    Wisdom of Solomon 2:1
FOR THE UNGODLY SAID, reasoning with themselves, but NOT ARIGHT…

Ya clearly missed it. King Solomon is recounting what the UNGODLY SAID. He said just that smh!! He basically said these are NOT my words, but the words of those who do not believe in Elohim. Like I can say what the above comentor said. I would be say: “For Denise Ward said….anyone who is truly enlighten wouldn’t say things in such convoluted ways.” You see how I recounted what someone else said?

You need a mighty foot up your ass.

  41. Read the first line of the text and come back and rewrite your article. You are embarrassing yourself and this website. I can’t imagine how much credibility you’ve lost from your fallacy. So now we all know this site contains lies, misunderstandings, is also biased, and must be fact-checked prior to believing any productions from you and your site.

I would like to recommend that you get your eyes checked or take some kind of reading class…I just don’t know how you missed the very first line that gives you the context of the entire chapter, yet you still write a erroneous article. How unfortunate.

  42. Anonhq, can you correct this article?

This is all wrong. Clearly, this author wrote a very biased, uneducated, painfully incorrect article.

Even a non-believer can understand this. How? Well, we are reading the same thing but for some reason this author either is not reading and paying attention to the words or was in haste to write something to discredit the scriptures. And I assume this has to be approved prior to publishing so this entire website is now deemed unreliable to now many. This article is so counterproductive to you. Thankfully people are able to see beyond your error but there are those who haven’t and now you’ve mislead them. :’-(

There is so much fake news, opinionated articles, incorrect articles, biased articles, lying articles, evil articles and this one makes the cut for all of the above. And I’m sure you won’t even try to correct this but just let it lay here until ppl stop commenting on it. But think about the long-term impact his will have on this site. I’ll be sharing this and encouraging others to beware of this webpage and anything that’s of it.

Maybe this wasn’t intentional yet it doesn’t deny what’s been done. But hopefully one day you’ll come into truth and stop hating on the living Elohim.

“Let Elohim be true, and every man a liar.”

Thanks for proving the scriptures although you tried to discredit them and our ancient African leaders. SMH.

  43. I had to laugh at the end when the author said “Whatever is really going on here, we should certainly research it further.” Yeah, the author of this article should have done a WHOLE LOT of research on this before writing this article.

  44. Bless You all. Maybe You might wish to look at the original texts and find out and get to know the god of Abraham and see how the original texts describe the relationship between Jahweh and jesus…You might be a bit shocked. For accurate research into the original texts try watching Gerald Clark ‘s channel on YouTube and I guarantee that Your mind will go through spasms but at least You will get onto the original trail and then You can judge for Yourselves once You see where the Hebrews learned their scriptures and find all Your bible history from many many thousands of years before what we have been told and lied to about.
Happy research people and I am grateful to be able to put You on to an original track.
I will be interested to know Your thoughts.

  45. But why would this write up seek to villify King Solomon based on what is quoted here from the said first English Language translation of the Bible when the quoted lines were clearly premised on the following: “For the ungodly said reasoning for themselves, but not aright, …”? Does it not show that that King Solomon, if he actually wrote those words, disapproved all the thoughts contained therein by referring the originators as “ungodly” and “not right” in their thinking?

  46. The Protestants translated the bible to English. The Geneva Bible was translated by followers of Wycliffe who predated Luther.

We have a copy that was donated to our local lodge. It’s from 1530 or so. I must get a good look at it…

They also were first to translate to Irish Gaelic and Scots Gaelic. Ditto Manx Gaelic which was never writen before and the phonets based on a Yorkshire Old English dialect preserve it’s sound as in pronunciation Manx is between Scots and Irish.

Get your facts right. First English Catholic bible is from 1700 or so…

  47. The Catholic had the books removed but do they still appear in the Jewish and Muslim verses ? I have no idea does anyone else ?

  48. This is such a big lie. One thing im very sure of is that Solomon never wrote this book, God almighty will never allow that to happen. Holy spirit is d author of d bible, so ders no way dat things lyk dese will be said in d bible. Now there are multiple versions of bible, n catholics follow 2 bibles, one given 2 d crowd, n one(d real one) only d priest uses. D real bible contains only 66 books,it was organised verse by verse. Word of God says -let no man remove or add anything to this(revelation), hence d odr bible wid 66+ buks is a wrong one n d multiple extra buks r added priests or as they col themselves d saints. Let’s not defile d word of God, by defiling its authenticity. God Bless

  49. Sorry, Doug Machin, it clearly sounds like your just a pawn and have no clout in the FMs. Go back to sleep and keep paying your dues!

  50. I don’t the writer of this piece really knows his Bible. The Vatican DID NOT REMOVE THOSE BOOKS. They are still there in the Catholic Bible. It is the Protestants who removed them, claiming that they were not included in the Jewish Bible (following the decision of the Council of Jamnia to remove them from the Septuagint simply because these were being used by Christians for their doctrinal claims). So, in effect wht the Protestants have adopted is an Old Testament that is, from the Jewish standpoint, anti Christian.

  51. I am confused. If the the old testament contained 80 books why they removed 14 books …we know the bible is a wholly book ,nobody can Chang or amends or edit ,coz this is the book from God..Pls admin continue to point out what’s in more rest 13 books…

  52. So much wrong with this article i cant even begin…

They’re talking about the apocrypha which are still found in Catholic bibles. They are not in Protestant Bibles because the both the ancient jews and the ancient church did not consider them Scripture and/or couldn’t verify their authorship. 1611 translation was English Protestants, not Catholics, and translation was from Hebrew and Greek, not Latin.

Etc, etc, etc. this author needs to spend 15 minutes on wikipedia.

  53. any religion that instill fear, guilt, disempowerment of the people is false. when we have fear they have control. they say we are sinners and unworthy but in fact we are beautiful spiritual beings which is the same as His own image and likeness. He does not judge.as long as we love ourselves and do things for the good of everyone. unconditional love. thats what we are. religion separates us. it so obvious. they’ve been runbbing itnoj our face yet a lot of us are still sleeping and blinded.its time to look at everything in a different perscpective have an open heart and mind and you will find the answers you were looking for. time to wake up and bot become sheeps. peace be with you all!

  55. So then no one willl check that when the Hebrews were captive in Babylon they saw the much older Sumerian tablets and adopted these creation and flood stories etc ?

  56. This is wrong and completely backwards. All of those books are IN the Catholic bible – they were removed from all copies of the Protestant bible.

    Dude. RESEARCH.

  57. The rebuttal to this article is in the first verse of the quoted excerpt.

Solomon is not saying he does these things. He is saying the unrighteous and unspiritual do those things.

  58. i bet all yall jesus lovers eat pork…….now that’s some funny shit..talking bout read yo bible…Christians yall should be stand up comedians..i need a good laugh…

    • Many plants and some creatures are poisonous to humans, but the pig is not one of them. Nowhere does it actually tell you why you can’t eat pig. And besides, if everyone on the planet ate bacon there wouldn’t be any wars.

  59. I’m Catholic annd just like Presidents and their administrations all leaders and their staff are subject to corruption. It makes is I than any other organization. Also……Council of Nicea…..Book of Thomas, Book of Enoch, Book of Philip and Book of Mary Magdelene they aren’t in there either they were removed by Constantine in 427A.D.. TELL THE WHOLE TRUTH……NOT JUST WHAT YOU WANT TO FORWARD AN AGENDA

  60. you fuckers. it wasnt SOLOMON talking ill about jesus. he was telling a story of what the ungodly were thinking and planning for jesus
the very first verse……………for the started to converse among them selves
Fuck you bring the previous and the nect chapter if you forgot to elliminate chapter one…..
so the fact that the ungodly had said that “let us see i

  61. Conspiratorial nonsense. Those books were always known in the Latin edition as the Apocrypha and were not included in the English translation because of that. You won’t find them in the Protestant St. James version either. The Apocrypha have always been non-canonical, as determined by the Council of Rome under Pope Damasus I in 382 CE.

  62. Judaism and Christianity are two different ideologies and therefore 2 religion. The God the Israelites worshipped was Marduk..
The catholic have those books as part of their canon. It is the Protestant that removed them.

  63. I have read a copy of the so-called “the other bible” and it contains nothing tangible beyond the present bible. Many people left scripts flying about of their thoughts and account of their time including the now popular 6th & 7th book of Moses. Believe me, the council acted wisely.

  64. Do all of you believe in fairy tales? The bible is the biggest fairy tale of all. These books were written by mortal men who had vivid imaginations and who wished to control the masses. Can anyone explain why God asked a guy to kill his own son? Why he flooded the planet cause he was pissed? Why isn’t “an eye for an eye” OK now? And where the fvck is the Garden of Eden? If Adam & Eve only had two sons where did we all come from and why are there so many different races of people? At what point was it no longer in vogue to sacrifice animals to God? When did God change from a vindictive, wrathful, harsh entity as depicted in the Old testament to the All loving, forgiving, merciful God of the new testament.

  65. With all due respect to everybody;

    1. Where does the title “GOD” comes from?
    2. When was the Old Testament written? Were all 5 books written at the same time period?
    3. When was the New Testament written? Why did a NEW testament had to be written?

    Thank you very kindly.

  66. It grieves my heart when people say the bible contradicts itself. You dont understand our God; that’s why.
It is not to be read as a newspaper. The bible has deeper meaning to every single sentence and it takes the holy spirit to lead you to understand.

Story of Naomie, Ruth and Boaz talks about a kinsman redeemer; a type of what Jesus will do for the gentiles….
Even love poems in Songs of Solomon has it place.

Noah preached for 120 years and the rains lasted 40 days and nights. But the waters filled the face of the earth for 150 days. PLEASE READ IT WELL!

Genesis 7:17 And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth.

Genesis 7:24 And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.

God is not man to contradict himself. He is alpha and omega!

  67. Who among you have seen the Complete Book???

Or do people of this evil generation speak evil of what they know not!!!!!!!!?

  68. Seems like who wrote this article missed the very first line “1 For the ungodly said reasoning with them selves, but not aright, our life is short and tedious and in death of a man there is no remedy: neither was there any man known to have returned from the grave.” which tells us that Solomon was writing what the ‘ungodly’ common people were saying, not what he himself was saying.

  69. This is a total blasphemy. I don’t follow what these mind twisting people are saying and never will. I am a strong believer of JESUS and his ministry on earth and beyond. Can’t you people see that, the more efforts you put in to rubbish CHRIST, the stronger his NAME becomes. You are so inwardly blind to see the reality.

  70. All lies …. all the Books you mentioned are still part of The Old Testament ….. And The Bible was Translated from Latin only in England ,,,, Although The official Biblical Language is in fact GREEK, however, major Biblical Connotations were all intended in Aramei …. Even Mathew wrote his book in Aramei, and The Old Testament was re – written in Aramei …. so please stop posting lies and nonesense and post truth

  71. I’m pretty sure that the books listed are in the Catholic bible. These books were removed by Protestants because they taught things that contradicted them. (Purgatory, Prayers for the dead, etc.)

  72. Others have already pointed it out, but this is just a spectacularly ignorant article, and single-handedly goes a long way to undermine anything else being done in the name of Anon. To simply ignore the fact that this passage begins with an explicit mention of the fact that this is how the “ungodly” argue, and that they do so wrongly… oh, never mind. There just aren’t words for how idiotic that makes the author look.

  73. Check your facts. These books are still in Catholic Bibles. The Protestants removed them, not the Vatican. This article makes you sound like your research is very poor.

  74. You got it all wrong. According to your write-up in verse 1. It says ‘The ungodly said to themselves’ so it was’nt solomon speaking rather he was only quoting what the ungodly people said.

  75. Could you please go through you article here and edit the mistakes, it’s an awesome investigation but I’ve found even little mistakes like this take away from the credibility of the writer. I do believe you deserve all the crediblitie possible for this seed of thought you’ve planted here.

In this first edition you will also actually find that Jesus’ name is spelled IESUS and pronounced Yahashua. So why then does everyone continue to call him Jesus, when the letter J ?{did not even being used at the time?}?

  76. The birth of JESUS CHRIST has been for told before creation of human kind, is not Solomon that first prophecies the birth of our Saviour (JESUS).

  77. Never liked Solomon, instincts confirmed, no surprise at all…
Royal son of great King David often cannot live up to their father, Another George Bush Junior, and his dad weren’t all that anyway

  78. You’ve got a whole lot of homework to do sir. These are obviously the Deuterocanonical books which, ironically, had always been in the Catholic Canon until about 1828 when protesting translators of the King James ‘cabal’ felt otherwise. You could call them the Protestants, if you will. By the way sir, nothing special happened in the year 1684… all of the components of the afore article are a total bunkum and balderdash! A little questioning never misleads a discerning fellow. ✌

  79. Who so ever has published this write up is not just a FOOL,but also an ILLITERATE…Talking about translation…words are bound to change one it is being translated…Considering certain words is the first bible and its translated versions to Hebrew and English, lot of words changed, which is very normal and unarguable …On the other hand, why will you quote the bible and misinterpret it for those who do not know how to understand or know how to read…You heard yourself saying” AND THE UNGODLY WILL SAY UNTO THEM SELVES”…Then the conversation started..till the end of the verse,Solomon even mentioned CATEGORICALLY that this is not right…He only gave example of things the UNGODLY will do in time to come..Then why will you say they Solomon has said all these as what he wants to do,or what he intends to do?.. Do you now see that its a clear misinterpretation of what the Holy Book has said, and on this ground, who so ever has published this will suffer spiritually for this.

  80. “For the ungodly said reasoning with them selves,” he is not talking about himself. He is making reference to how the ungodly think. This article is slander.

  81. These books are there in Catholic Bible. Not Catholic Church deceive people but the Protestant. Because this Church was the only church founded by the Christ through his holy apostles

  82. Saying Solomon worshipped others apart from God is popostrous! The quran predicted said they will call him (Solomon) a magician who worshipped other gods I’m not surprised of this article

  83. In this last days, we will come up against false prophets and doctrines that will test your faith to the wire. The devil never sleeps, and so should we. We are fighting an unfair battle because our enemy is unseen. In these last days, God would never want us to be more confused then when we were when we found Christ and the truth in the first place. Whatever God wrote in the bible was meant for us and our salvation. He did not complicate the bible so that we would be more lost in this forever confusing world. He knew the confusion would come from the world to further us from him so he made the bible in such a way so that we night be closer to him no matter what. He is God and he knew that the book of Genesis to Revelation would be sufficient for us. Every single word in these books were made perfect with power and explained without the wisdom of men so that the message of Christ at the cross was not robbed off it’s power. God is simple to simple people and he designed a simple plan in order for us to live a simple life to archive his simple purpose. All this is archived by a simple manual God perfected just for us which is called the bible[ from genesis to revelation]. He only summarized what was needed to win us back to himself because he loves us so much, he will always coach us along the way with simple instruction that we could understand to finish this race. Any other book that was omitted from the bible was meant to be because it does not concern our salvation and would only waste our time because time is something that we don’t have control off and is very short. If you understand that God is love, his unlimited love was shown by giving up his only begotten son to die for us, then you would understand why God kept the bible as simple as it is. Even the dark world works in favor of God’s purpose, and they just don’t know it yet. He is God. An example is this: If the world knew God’s plan for our salvation, then they would have never crucified Christ. My advise to you is to ask God for wisdom and he will surely give it to those who earnestly seek it to understand only the things you need to know. God loves us and he would never hide anything from us. But if he did, it was for a very good reason. Why would we wanna know how God was created when in fact he created us to understand why we was created. We get involved in things that does not concern us and our mind trys to play God in trying to understand all these things, so we end up assuming and think that it’s the truth. Look what happened to Adam and Eve..Eve thought that it was good to eat because she heard it from the serpent. Be careful of what you here and just hold on to the things of truth that you already have inside you that the holy spirit puts into your heart. Be blessed brothers and sisters and ask God to reveal to you the truth in this last days through his word. From me here in the Fiji Islands. Bula!!

  84. Your so called God of Abraham/Yahweh is really ENLIL son of Anu.
In the garden of Eden when he forbade the eating the fruit from the tree of Knowledge saying it would kill them (Adam n Eve)
Yahweh lied didn’t he because his brother ENKI knew this and has been made into a serpent lol. He did carry the Caduceus which showed him to be the creator of humanity and Enki loved his creation and even upgraded us but Yahweh didn’t like us and tried to wipe us out several times but each time his brother ENKI saved us.
Check the translations of the Sumerian Cuneiform tablets by Oxford scholars and they will give You the ORIGINAL history of creation instead of Yahweh’s propaganda version.
    Enjoy finding the truth !

  85. Well dear Anon Void. I suggest that You check some of the many Sumerian Cuneiform Clay Tablets that have now been translated by many scholars. It is beyond doubt that the old testament was plagiarised from the Ancient Sumerian history which details many of the stories that were copied into the old testament. Yahweh is Enlil and his brother is ENKI who genetically engineered humanity and Enki loved his creation which is why after several times when Enlil/Yahweh tried to wipe us out that ENKI saved us like when he got Noah to build the Ark. Just research for Yourself.

  86. Fake news. The 1611 translation was not the first English translation, and was undertaken by command of the Protestant English King James I (also King of Protestant Scotland as James VI). So the Roman Catholic Vatican had no authority to included or exclude books from this Bible or from its 1684 reprint. Because you accuse the Vatican (i.e. the Roman Catholic Church) of conspiracy, make sure you have your basic facts straight. And as for why we call Jesus Jesus and not IESUS, well you should ask why we call Peter Peter, Mary Mary, Pope John Paul Pope John Paul or Joan of Arc Joan of Arc – they’re just anglicised versions of names from a different language. Duh.
Rarely have I read such twaddle.

  87. Oh dear! What a poorly, uneducated bit of nonsense!! Firstly, the 1611 King James Bible was not translated from the Latin, it was a translation from the Hebrew (OT) and Greek (NT). Secondly, the books you quote from is called the Apocrypha, & was placed between the Testaments in 1611, but never classed as part of canonical Scripture, which is why they were put between the Testaments. And it wasn’t the RC Church that excluded them in later editions. Jesus never quoted the Apocryphal writings, nor the Apostles. Do your research before posting & re-posting fake news.

  88. My thoughts are when he refers to “He”, the reader should observe themselves and reflect if they fit the model of God’s son, and if they don’t, they should follow his advice and indulge.

  89. How do you write an article on Bible verses without being able to identify context? Try understanding what you read before writing an article to educate others on it.

  90. What Solomon was stating here was from his insight about what the unrighteous and ungodly say in themselves, and yes he was speaking about the coming of the Son of God which is Yeshua and what would be assumed by those in another generation who would kill Him

  91. Solomon was prophesying, this is not another side or dark side of him but rather a misunderstood passage by those unlearned. Because those unlearned in wisdom, knowledge, and understanding seek these passages in darkness not being revealed to them because of unbelief.

  92. Obviously these were discarded, because they aren’t authentic. Nice prelude of ‘corruption’, when that’s exactly what the Cathars were. They were Islamists seeking to distort Christianity. Rejecting the Trinity? That’s Islam! Note the places they were – bulgaria, italy, all places that were subjected to Ottoman/ Islamic rule. Just as the ‘Gospel of Barnabas’ is laughed at because its obviously someone forging up a book to justify Mohammed’s claims.

    • Bulgaria, not yet occupied by Ottomans at time of Cathars. (Ottomans proper not a force until end of c13) Italy purged of muslims by Normans. Anyway, big Cathar centre was southern France, where Islam as such had no hegemony.

  93. , if christianity has such in it, its a sign that there is some thing wrong with the bible and the kind of worship there.

because even Christmas day is not in the bibles and when you get to read about its origin am sorry to say but its evil-like

in Vatican some popes caught doing sodomy etc………..

    alot of crap in Christianity
there is a very big problem.

    solution
    try to reading the Qur’an

  94. The Catholic church didn’t remove these books. The Protestant church did, which brings the credibility of this site down to zero as far as I’m concerned. At least I know not to trust anything written here.

  95. Who is Jesus Christ ?? Who is God ?? Jesus can be nothing more then what you have read or what you have been told. It is the spirit within that is the true God, the true Jesus. The readings, and the teachings just reafirm our true nature and connection with God / the universe.

  96. We know all the answers, we are just remembering them… Our connection with God (?) is in the journey, in the seeking, in the questioning,…,’seek and ye shall find’, find what?! a relationship within where words are irrelevant…a knowing, a trusting,….hmmmmmmmm…could that be what they call ‘faith’? …just pieces of a puzzle where each has his own destiny, free will only exists in how long you choose to get there, we affect others and they affect us, oh yes, another puzzle piece has fit in… faith only comes about on a completely personal level, no ones words have any meaning for you, only the words that come to you as an individual, that ‘knowing’ on the inside is your faith, trust that only, for that is the voice of your creator…the only truth is the one you find within you…hear nothing else and listen to nothing else, go within and he is there…truth

  97. Ask yourself; if you had never been told of a God, Jesus, the Bible, etc. then would you have any belief in a higher being? Would you even wonder? Would you care? I believe I would…

  98. The key in interpretation: Read the first line carefully. Solomon says:

“For the ungodly said reasoning with them selves”

The entire passage is referring to what the ungodly said (or still says) of the just man. That is why all verses beyond it sounds like a condoning of a hedonistic lifestyle and persecution of those who believe in God. If the first verse is missed, the rest is taken out of context.

If ever verse began with “For the ungodly said reasoning with them selves, but not aright,” there would be no room for misinterpretation by reading only a portion of the text.

  99. The truth is when u don’t have Christ in u, devil fills ur heart with doubt, if u want to research about christ existence why don’t u go to isreal and ask the Jews about Christ ,though the didn’t believe in him but the knew him ,Jesus is not a Roman so why would u seek about him from Roman authors what did the Romans as at that time know about Jesus, the were busy running their empire government, the only heard about Jesus,if u want to know about someone or a people go to their culture and history not somewhere else ,I have experienced the power of Christ, ranging from my younger brother sitting and floating on a river before he was rescued to the point of battling with whiches to that fact that I am alive despite the exposure to death,I want to share this particular testimony about Jesus ,me and my brother had a fight with about six to seven men towards the end of the fight one of them came through my back hit me with 2 by 2 plank ,i lost a lot of blood and was near to death,I used my last breath to plead with Jesus to forgive me of all my sins and immediately my life was restored without any medical attention ,so if u have not experienced Jesus pray to God to have a
personal experience with Jesus ,ur salvation is what matters to God ,Jesus said blessed are those who have not seen and
yet believed, the Koran recognized Jesus,Judaism also recognized Jesus though the didn’t believe believe he is a saviour ,except jesus as your personal lord and saviour whether u have seen or not and u shall be saved

  100. .
That’s not true. It’s a blatant lie. The only time books were removed from the Bible happened during the Protestant Reformation. After Martin Luther was excommunicated from the Roman Catholic Church he questioned which books were supposed to be part of the Biblical canon. At various times he advocated removing Hebrews, James, Jude, and the Book of Revelation. However when he translated the Bible into German, he kept them.

Luther chose to move a group of books called the Apocrypha (or Deuterocanon) to a separate section between the Old and New Testament. These books included: Tobit, Judith, additions to the Book of Esther, the Wisdom of Solomon, Ecclesiasticus, Baruch, Song of the Three Children, Story of Susanna, Bel and the Dragon, Prayer of Manasses, 1 Maccabees and 2 Maccabee. Luther removed 1 Esdras and 2 Esdras altogether.

He did this for a couple reasons. One is that he disagreed with a few doctrines the Roman Catholic Church derived from these books, like Purgatory and prayers for the dead. Another was that they were not found in the Masoretic Text (the Jewish canon.)

Other Protestant Reformers removed them altogether and most Protestants (except for Anglicans/Episcopalians and Lutherans) use a Bible that doesn’t have the Apocrypha. That is why there is variance between the Protestant and Roman Catholic Bibles.

  101. The truth is this;
The old testament has Gods commandment, statutes, and laws.
    Live by them!
And seek God continually, Fear and Love him!
Fear you don’t err from his commandment, statutes, and laws.
While we are here, God will prove us. Or more simply put he will test us to find which ones are most worthy and trust worthy to our Lord God.
If you pass your proving in life, then you will be excepted into heaven.
If you do not pass your proving then you will end up in the fiery lake for all eternity.
Don’t pray to Jesus, Pray to God! “for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God”
Jesus was sent to prove us and to prophecy.
And don’t believe anything that says contrary to what is written in the old testament!
    Remember, God proveth you.
    amen.

  102. Solomon is back today. Bat-Shua gave birth to him In this life. Believe it or not, Solomon is a Saint, just as his father, King David and mother Bathsheba (bat-Shua) are also. Here today are Saints Uriah, Tamar and David’s entire family. Bat-Shua is married to Uriah in this life. King David had quite a lot of clout, and he asked God Our Father not to punish Solomon, because he was his son and he was anointed as King. God did as King David wished, and He punished Solomon’s children back then ….. David wanted Solomon’s name to be placed in the book of life. King David also asked God, to bring Uriah into Heaven because of his own remorse for having killed his dearest friend and General. The saints are just now, being awaken.
Solomon today is married to the same woman from a foreign country with foreign gods, that he was married to when he was King of Israel. They have two young boys. Solomon is facing the same trials that he faced back when he was King. God wants Solomon to come back to him along with all people of the earth. Solomon’s wife today, also worships daemons, (hence, comes the story of the Ring of Solomon that the Pope wears today. Solomon’s wife, today, will not allow a picture of Jesus in her house. God will remove her from this life, if she doesn’t soften and turn to God. But in her defense, she is schizophrenic and bipolar with other mental disorders. One of their children is Leikem (not sure about the spelling) who was Solomon’s illegitimate son with Sheba who came from Ethiopia I believe. The second son is also one of their previous children.
Solomon today is an alcoholic just as he became back in the day, once the Temple was complete. As Solomon, he didn’t have an drink until that day, then he married his wife and they both drank to excess. This is going on today. But, the saints are waking up. The prophet who woke King David and his family, is working with Solomon today. They were living their lives as usual without much knowledge of who they were until about 2015, when they were awakened by a prophet. The prophet was A female this time.
King David had memories of the palace in Jerusalem, as did Bat-Shua, and King David is married to his first wife Mical,(not Bat-Shua, who got word from God the Father to stay far from David,) and his children’s names are (all 3 boys) Christian, Nathan and Jonathan. (unknowingly named after Jesus, Nathan the prophet, and Jonathan (David’s best friend) son of Saul.)
King David’s job will be to stand with Jesus on Judgement Day and to send Angels into Hell to retrieve the ‘unworthy’ (whom he said are the addicted souls) and bring them into Heaven.
An interesting fact is that All of the saints including Paul the apostle, were born in the same area, were baptized Roman Catholic as babies, and still practice today, and they all knew that their past life memories were real but couldn’t explain it. The reason that the Saints are back is by God’s Will, in preparation for Tribulations which is about to befall us with the blowing of the forth trumpet.

  103. *** Iesus…. This is why Obama formed ISIL which he later called ISIS from the Muslim Brotherhood,… He blasphemes and knows more than we do about God’s work, because he’s been here since the beginning doing destruction

  104. One more thing if I may…… Before the Messiah came, there were very few in Heaven…. It was not until Jesus came and descended into Hell, that he rescued souls brought them to Heaven. People didn’t get saved back then, and didn’t talk about being saved or going to Heaven because no one was guaranteed Heaven as an outcome until Jesus came, which was a thousand or so years after Solomon.

  105. Bunkum all of this. I am Catholic and we have all the 14 books you said the Church removed. So you lied there. I also speak Hebrew and Aramaic. Jesus name in Aramaic is Yeshu or in Syriac it is Isho. In Hebrew it is Yeshua. The Y became Latin J in transliteration and a Masculine gender s was added. YOu people are morons.

  106. They were originally in the Hebrew Bible and OT then removed to a separate section, then removed completely, and now they are coming back in some versions.
These are called Biblical apocrypha (from the Greek apókruphos, meaning “hidden”) denotes the collection of ancient books found in some editions of Christian Bibles in a separate section between the Old and New Testaments or as an appendix after the New Testament.
The Septuagint, the ancient and best known Greek version of the Old Testament, contains books and additions that are not present in the Hebrew Bible. These texts are not traditionally segregated into a separate section, nor are they usually called apocrypha. Rather, they are referred to as the Anagignoskomena, “things that are read” or “profitable reading”. The anagignoskomena are Tobit, Judith, Wisdom of Solomon, Wisdom of Jesus ben Sira (Sirach), Baruch, Letter of Jeremiah (in the Vulgate this is chapter 6 of Baruch), additions to Daniel (The Prayer of Azarias, Susanna and Bel and the Dragon), additions to Esther, 1 Maccabees, 2 Maccabees, 3 Maccabees, 1 Esdras, i.e. all of the Deuterocanonical books plus 3 Maccabees and 1 Esdras.
Some editions add additional books, such as Psalm 151 or the Odes (including the Prayer of Manasses). 2 Esdras is added as an appendix in the Slavonic Bibles and 4 Maccabees as an appendix in Greek editions. Some Christian Churches include some or all of the same texts within the body of their version of the Old Testament. Jerome completed his version of the Bible, the Latin Vulgate, in 405. In the Middle Ages the Vulgate became the de facto standard version of the Bible in the West.
The Vulgate manuscripts included prologues that Jerome clearly identified certain books of the Vulgate Old Testament as apocryphal or non-canonical. Apocrypha are well attested in surviving manuscripts of the Christian Bible. (See, for example, Codex Vaticanus, Codex Sinaiticus, Codex Alexandrinus, Vulgate, and Peshitta.) After the Lutheran and Catholic canons were defined by Luther (c. 1534) and Trent (8 April 1546) respectively, early Protestant editions of the Bible (notably the Luther Bible in German and 1611 King James Version in English) did not omit these books, but placed them in a separate Apocrypha section apart from the Old and New Testaments to indicate their status.
Gutenberg Bible famous edition of the Vulgate was published in 1455. Like the manuscripts it was based on, the Gutenberg Bible lacked a specific Apocrypha section; its Old Testament included the books that Jerome considered apocryphal.
Martin Luther translated the Bible into German with a complete Bible in 1534. His Bible was the first major edition to have a separate section called Apocrypha. In 1592, Pope Clement VIII published his revised edition of the Vulgate, referred to as the Sixto-Clementine Vulgate. He moved three books not found in the canon of the Council of Trent from the Old Testament into an appendix.
The English-language King James Version (KJV) of 1611 followed the lead of the Luther Bible in using an inter-testamental section labelled “Books called Apocrypha”, or just “Apocrypha” at the running page header. The KJV followed the Geneva Bible of 1560 almost exactly. The section contains the 14 books.
The British Puritan revolution of the 1600s brought a change in the way many British publishers handled the apocryphal material associated with the Bible. The Puritans used the standard of Sola Scriptura (Scripture Alone) to determine which books would be included in the canon. The Westminster Confession of Faith, composed during the British Civil Wars (1642–1651), excluded the Apocrypha from the canon. The Confession provided the rationale for the exclusion: ‘The books commonly called Apocrypha, not being of divine inspiration, are no part of the canon of the Scripture, and therefore are of no authority in the church of God, nor to be any otherwise approved, or made use of, than other human writings’. Thus, Bibles printed by English Protestants who separated from the Church of England began to exclude these books.
All King James Bibles published before 1666 included the Apocrypha, though separately to denote them as not equal to Scripture proper, as noted by Jerome in the Vulgate, to which he gave the name, “The Apocrypha.” In 1826, the National Bible Society of Scotland petitioned the British and Foreign Bible Society not to print the Apocrypha, resulting in a decision that no BFBS funds were to pay for printing any Apocryphal books anywhere. Since that time most modern editions of the Bible and reprintings of the King James Bible omit the Apocrypha section. Modern non-Catholic reprintings of the Clementine Vulgate commonly omit the Apocrypha section. Many reprintings of older versions of the Bible now omit the apocrypha and many newer translations and revisions have never included them at all.
There are some exceptions to this trend, however. Some editions of the Revised Standard Version and the New Revised Standard Version of the Bible include not only the Apocrypha listed above, but also the third and fourth books of Maccabees, and Psalm 151.
The American Bible Society lifted restrictions on the publication of Bibles with the Apocrypha in 1964. The British and Foreign Bible Society followed in 1966. The Stuttgart edition of the Vulgate (the printed edition, not most of the on-line editions), which is published by the UBS, contains the Clementine Apocrypha as well as the Epistle to the Laodiceans and Psalm 151. In Greek circles, however, these books are not traditionally called Apocrypha, but Anagignoskomena, and are integrated into the Old Testament.

  107. Comment: em,it all depends on how you want to take this apart, solomon clearly had the gift of vision, and he was a scholar who read and wrote a lot of books, the simple logic to it is that he wrote these aforementioned books clearly after he must have been seduced by smaller gods,he didnt loose his vision, damn right he was talking bout jesus and his death on the cross,at the hands of men of vile and crude character of whom solomon was now affiliated with.he was a good man but became bad at some point and the catholic church simply wanted to preserve his long standing reputation as the greatest n wisest man of his generation by editing and omitting some of his works

  108. First of all to answer the first question is talking about what the people who are against Gods people plan to do to them. They came together in a counsel against Gods people according to Psalms 2:1-11 and Psalm 83: the whole chapter.
For the second question the vatican removed it because they never wanted the books to be translated in the first place they wanted full control over the records because the roman’s were and still are pagans, and they wanted their religion to above all other religion are belief on the earth because it would help them gain power and also keep them in power. Also the those books shad a light on how they came into power and what they would do to stay in power instead of learning from the words of the disciples and turning from paganism and following the true Christ not the babylonian christ that they worship and have convinced the whole world to worship.
    3. You say Solomon sounds crazy and evil, but if you read verse 1 you will see that Solomon is talking from the position of those that are wicked and conspiring against a people, he is not speaking of what he wants to do himself because he comes from the very people that this wicked leaders are against and want to destroy.
    4. Solomon is talking about both Christ and his people because all the torture killing and oppression continued and still continues till this day well after Christ died and resurrected.
    5. If you read carefully you see that Solomon is not expressing what he wants to do but what the wicked men in high places have set in their hearts to do, hence (Wisdom of Solomon 2:1
1 For the ungodly said reasoning with them selves,)
In verse one he is clearly prophesying of what the wicked men are conspiring, no himself.

  109. Take some advise from a carpenter honey.”Measure twice and cut once” If you don’t get that, here is another one, always check your work. If nothing works do what I do, pray. Just so we are clear pray to God in Jesus Christ name.
