On an episode from Vice, the legend himself showed a correspondent, Shane Smith, how to remove the camera and the microphone, to prevent them from being utilized against the user. DON’T get Hola.
Yea they mask your IP using someone elses, but then your IP is also used to mask another in return. Say someone uses Hola and gets masked with yours, then looks up some pretty bad shit, guess what, it’s right back on you because it’s your IP to begin with.
What you SHOULD do, is onion router, tor, or something similar. Hola is a piece of shit VPN that parades itself as “all that” when in reality, they’re pretty much the worst.

You’re not missing much, its a minute and thirty-eight seconds. Snowden just detaches the cameras and mics and tells you to use a bluetooth or wired headset instead.
Or put a piece of black electrical tape over both camera lenses and use a hands free mic. And not risk bricking the phone????
Key point: If you don’t remove the internal mic(s), authorities can turn it/them on remotely.
you truly think it is possible to brick a phone by disconnecting the mic and camera… well yes if your using a hammer to work with otherwise it is simple remove screws undo connector and reassemble job !
