Possibly The Biggest Leak In History: Valve Was Hacked

0

Various game developers have already been caught out in the past, and hackers have managed to download sensitive data from internal networks. Now, however, a hacker has taken the whole thing to the extreme.

In what is probably the biggest leak of all time, the entire Valve repository is available for free download on the Internet. Among other things, previously unknown content for Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike: Source, Half-Life 2, Portal and much more can be found there.

To get an idea of how big the aforementioned leak actually is, it should be noted that the Team Fortress 2 material alone is more than 60 GB. Among them were unused character models, variations of existing maps and drafts of deleted maps, as well as new weapon skins. It is currently assumed that modders will use the leaked content to flood the market.

In the last few weeks, source codes or content from older titles have repeatedly appeared on the Internet. This concerns games like Mortal Kombat II or Rayman 4, for example. However, this is of course no comparison to the current Valve leak.

On a Discord server that has been blocked in the meantime, a user named “Leakerwanderer” published links to numerous file repositories. In addition, a statement was posted in which Leakerwanderer claims to have received the data from someone third party. However, the contact has been broken off.

“Tons of never before seen maps, models, PSDs & VMFs, everything,” writes TF2 content creator Richter Overtime(opens in new tab). “Once the community finishes digesting this (61GB), there will be nothing else to talk about. This is the last official TF2 content drop you or I will ever see.”

Those who had hoped for new information about Half-Life 3 or Left 4 Dead 3 now will be disappointed. So far, no references to the titles could be discovered in the data, but there is still plenty to be excited about here. The assets are from 2016, and they include cut content, content that was released in a different form, and assets that were abandoned for whatever reason. There’s a skeleton of a Raid mode that was scrapped and repurposed as elements of the Mann Vs. Machine mode, map variants, and entirely new maps (mostly for MvM mode). There are so many prototype maps that they haven’t all been found yet.

There is no official statement from Valve yet. However, there is no doubt about the authenticity of the leaked data. Only the question of the origin still has to be clarified.

3 Crypto Bosses Die Within 1 Month – Last One Warned About CIA Pedo Network

0

The deaths of two major cryptocurrency CEOs in a single week have fueled a flurry of conspiratorial claims and narratives, alleging sinister links between their deaths and those of other billionaires and multi-millionaires in the industry over the years.

Tiantian Kullander and Vyacheslav Taran, who both died within the last two weeks, had fortunes estimated to be worth billions of dollars and are now at the center of new conspiracy narratives on social media, despite the fact that there is little to no evidence that either died as a result of a plot against them or other foul play.

Tiantian Kulliander (30), a Crypto billionaire, passed away while asleep on Nov 23rd, 2022.

It comes just a month after the death of millionaire cryptocurrency developer Nikolai Mushegian, 29, in Puerto Rico.

Vyacheslav Taran’s case

Vyacheslav Taran, a 53-year-old Russian crypto billionaire, is the third cryptocurrency executive to be discovered dead in mysterious circumstances after his helicopter crashed near Monaco.

Indeed, the crash appears to have occurred in good weather and after another passenger allegedly canceled the flight at the last minute, raising suspicions. For these reasons, the deputy prosecutor from Nice who was present at the scene stated that the involvement of a third party cannot be ruled out.

Taran co-founded the trading and investment platform Libertex and the Forex Club, and was flying from Lausanne in a single-engine H130 helicopter with an experienced pilot when it crashed around 1 PM on November 25. The French pilot, 35, was also killed.

According to the Ukrainian news agency UNIAN, Taran was also linked to the SVR foreign spy agency and was in charge of laundering Russian funds via a cryptocurrency operation. However, the sources of this information have not been disclosed.

Taran’s wife denies claims and rumours.

A crypto billionaire died while sleeping

Tiantian Kullander, a 30-year-old co-founder of Amber Group, Singapore’s trading platform for virtual currencies, was recently valued at $3 billion. Kullander died in his sleep on November 23, according to the firm.

He co-founded Amber in 2017 with a group of financial industry insiders, including ex-Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs Group Inc. employees, and was a key player in the company’s explosive growth, which included raising an additional $100 million in capital.

Amber was transformed by Kullander into a multibillion-dollar financial unicorn. He was also a member of the Fanatic board of directors, an e-sports organization. The only thing that could be established was that Kullander died while sleeping; no further information was provided.

The untimely death of Nikolai Mushegian and conspiracy theories

Nikolai Mushegian, the co-founder of MakerDAO, a crypto lending network, was apparently discovered dead in a lake in Puerto Rico just hours after tweeting that he believed Israeli and American security agencies were planning to murder him. Given the young millionaire’s history of mental health issues, his family did not suspect foul play, according to Brock Pierce, a close friend.

Despite this, a few of his friends and coworkers have accepted unproven claims that his death was unusual. As a result of the news of Mushegian’s death, his final tweet, and other depressing posts about battling “bad people,” conspiracy theories have spread online and among the small but close-knit Puerto Rican crypto community.

Mushegian tweeted before being discovered dead in the lake. As much as some have moved on with all the hustle and bustle of the Yuletide season, many individuals are still perplexed and wondering what all of this means for the crypto business, which is notoriously unpredictable.

His own family, who reportedly stated that they did not share his concern, debunked it.

John McAfee and rumors about his untimely death.

Another crypto-boss who died in a Barcelona jail at the age of 75 was the well-known tech entrepreneur and crypto currency influencer John McAfee.

His death was announced on June 23, 2021, exactly 8 months after his arrest for alleged tax evasion.

However, after his death, investigations were launched to determine the cause, as suicide was claimed.

Janine McAfee, John’s wife, stated early on that she did not believe her husband committed suicide, and she has since stated that she does not believe the rumors that her husband was still alive and had faked his death.

The widow McAfee made the remark in response to a segment in the Netflix documentary “Running with the Devil” in which McAfee’s ex-girlfriend Samantha Herrera allegedly claimed that the deceased contacted her from a hideout in Texas. Janice calls this information false.

In Newport News, Virginia, a 6-year-old boy is being held after allegedly shooting an elementary school teacher.

The victim, a woman in her 30s, was shot inside a Richneck Elementary School classroom in what ‘was not an accidental shooting,’ according to Police Chief Steve Drew on Friday afternoon.

According to Drew, an altercation erupted between the teacher and the boy, who had a firearm and fired a single round.

‘He is currently in police custody,’ he said.

‘We have been in contact with our commonwealth attorney and some other entities to assist us in getting services to this young man as quickly as possible.’

The teacher was initially said to be in critical condition with life-threatening injuries, but Drew said there was “some improvement” in the most recent update.

Around 2 p.m. on Friday, police received a call about an active shooter situation.

‘A teacher was injured and taken to a local hospital,’ Newport News Public Schools announced on Facebook. ‘The students are all safe. The perpetrator has been apprehended by police.’

Michelle Price, a school district spokeswoman, previously told 13News Now that a staff member had been injured.

The incident was communicated to families via phone call, email, and social media post.

‘The Police Department and school division leaders are on-site and actively investigating,’ the school district stated.

The school was placed on lockdown for about an hour until the active shooter situation was resolved.

According to Police Chief Steve Drew, all students were safely relocated to the gym following the shooting incident.

Officials set up a reunification site at the Rickneck gym door, and parents and guardians were required to show a picture ID to pick up their children.

Drew explained that students were being dismissed by grade level.

The school is located in eastern Virginia, near the Chesapeake Bay, at 205 Tyner Drive.

The Unimaginable Cruelties Of Gaddafi Against His Own People

0

What the dictator and tyrant Gaddafi did to his people only became known after his assassination by rebels financed and supported by the West. Here is a list of his atrocities under which the Libyans had to suffer for 4 decades.

1. there was no electricity bill in Libya. Electricity was free for all citizens.
2. there was no interest on loans. The state banks gave loans to all citizens at zero percent interest by law.
3. having a home was considered a human right in Libya.
4. all newlyweds in Libya received $50,000. This money was supposed to enable people to buy their first home. The government wanted to contribute to the start of a family.
5. education and medical treatment were free in Libya. Before Gaddafi came to power, only 25 percent of Libyans could read. Today, the number is 83 percent.
6. if Libyans wanted to make a career in agriculture, they received farmland, a farmhouse, implements, seeds, and livestock as a quick start for their farms, all for free.
7. if Libyans could not find education or medical facilities they needed, they had the opportunity to go abroad with the help of government funds. They were paid 2,300 USD a month for housing and car.
8. When a Libyan bought a car, the government subsidized 50 percent of the price.
9. the price of gasoline in Libya was $0.14 (12 centimes or about 0.10 euros) per liter.
10. if a Libyan did not get a job after graduation, the government paid the average salary of the profession in which he was looking for work until a professionally adequate job was found.
11. Libya has no foreign debt and her reserves of $150,000,000,000 are now frozen worldwide and probably lost forever.
12.A portion of every Libyan oil sale has been credited directly to the accounts of all Libyan citizens.
13. mothers who gave birth to a child received $5,000.
14. 25 percent of Libyans have a college degree.
15. Gaddafi launched The Great Man-Made River Project (GMMRP or GMMR) in Libya It is the world’s largest drinking water pipeline project for improved water supply to the population and agriculture.

Thank God Nato and rebels have liberated the Libyan people from this…

Many rebels afterwards regretted the overthrow and assassination of the Libyan president and understood that they had been tricked by the West or the U.S….

Addendum

As a reminder of Gaddafi’s accomplishments, here is a brief overview:
On September 1, 1969, Muammar al-Gaddafi and his “League of Free Officers” coup against the monarchy of the corrupt King Idris and proclaim a republic. He himself becomes head of state. He immediately begins to build a secular people’s socialist state. The military bases of the USA and Great Britain are closed, many foreigners and Jews are expelled from the country. Alcohol is banned.

The following year, nationalization of foreign property, especially the oil industry, begins. Gaddafi invests the profits from this in free state education and health care. He creates an irrigation system that allows the desert state to be agriculturally self-sufficient.
In 1973, he declares Islam to be an alternative to both capitalist materialism and communist atheism (“3rd International Theory”). In 1976/77, direct democracy is proclaimed on the basis of the Koran and Gaddafi’s “Green Book.”

The head of state takes far-reaching sociopolitical measures: Housing construction, raising minimum wages, subsidizing basic foodstuffs, electricity, gas and fuel. Since 1973, workers have been given a share of company profits.

Thanks to these measures, Libya had the lowest wealth gap and, at the same time, the highest gross domestic product in all of Africa: $9400 per inhabitant annually. In Tunisia it was $3400, in Egypt $1700. Moreover, Libya was debt-free.

Libya had no civil wars, no refugees or internally displaced persons, and no child soldiers, as was the case everywhere else in Africa. Libya was the country with the lowest HIV infection rate, the lowest infant mortality rate and the highest life expectancy in all of Africa. (We take this information from the “dtv-atlas Weltgeschichte,” Munich 2010, pp. 618-626).
Libya’s prosperity also allowed it to build an adequate national defense. Its quality was demonstrated by the fact that the NATO aggressors only succeeded in breaking Libyan resistance after almost eight months and thousands of air strikes.

As is well known, this war had a prelude: After incidents during U.S. maneuvers due to American provocations, the American air force flew attacks against Tripoli and Benghazi as early as 1986. In 1988, Libya was accused by the West of an airplane attack. UN sanctions and an economic blockade were imposed in 1992-93. So everything was prepared long in advance.

Do You Want To Know If You Will Get Alzheimer’s? New Blood Test Developed by Scientists

0

Scientists have developed a blood test to diagnose Alzheimer’s disease. The test could replace the need for expensive brain imaging or a painful lumbar puncture (where a sample of cerebrospinal fluid is drawn from the lower back). If validated, the test could enable faster diagnosis of the disease, meaning therapies could be initiated earlier.

What is Alzheimer’s disease?

Alzheimer’s is the most common form of dementia, but diagnosis remains challenging – particularly during the earlier stages of the disease.

Current Detection Methods: Current guidelines recommend detection of three distinct markers: abnormal accumulations of amyloid and tau proteins, as well as neurodegeneration – the slow and progressive loss of neuronal cells in specified regions of the brain. This can be done through a combination of brain imaging and CSF analysis. However, a lumbar puncture can be painful and people may experience headaches or back pain after the procedure, while brain imaging is expensive and takes a long time to schedule.

myloid plaques are a symptom of Alzheimer’s disease

Advantages of the New Blood Test

Prof Thomas Karikari at the University of Pittsburgh, in Pennsylvania, US, who was involved in the study, said: “A lot of patients, even in the US, don’t have access to MRI and PET scanners. Accessibility is a major issue.” The development of a reliable blood test would be an important step forwards. “A blood test is cheaper, safer and easier to administer, and it can improve clinical confidence in diagnosing Alzheimer’s and selecting participants for clinical trial and disease monitoring,” Karikari said.

How the Blood Test Works

Although current blood tests can accurately detect abnormalities in amyloid and tau proteins, detecting markers of nerve cell damage that are specific to the brain has been harder. Karikari and his colleagues around the world focused on developing an antibody-based blood test that would detect a particular form of tau protein called brain-derived tau, which is specific to Alzheimer’s disease. They tested it in 600 patients at various stages of Alzheimer’s and found that levels of the protein correlated well with levels of tau in the CSF, and could reliably distinguish Alzheimer’s from other neurodegenerative diseases. Protein levels also closely corresponded with the severity of amyloid plaques and tau tangles in brain tissue from people who had died with Alzheimer’s. The research was published in the journal Brain.

Next Steps

The next step will be to validate the test in a broader range of patients, including those from varied racial and ethnic backgrounds, and those suffering from different stages of memory loss or other potential dementia symptoms. Karikari also hopes that monitoring levels of brain-derived tau in the blood could improve the design of clinical trials for Alzheimer’s treatments.
