Twitter Employees Threatened by ISIS Puppets

4

Now that the famous ‘Hacktivist‘ collective Anonymous started a successfull online war against ISIS and took down their most powerful recruiting tools, their social media accounts, Twitter has finally joined the war and aggressively suspended hundreds of accounts that belong to ISIS ‘puppets’ and/or ISIS militants. As you know, Twitter is the one of the largest social networking sites in the world, and ISIS has been taking advantage of that. Last Sunday, ISIS puppets called on ‘jihadis’ to kill the co-founder, Jack Dorsey, and other employees of Twitter as a result of the various suspended accounts. According to Twitter’s ‘terms and conditions’, Twitter can’t be used for posting about violence or anything “harmful to society or public interests.” ISIS puppets published a message online via the website “justpaste.it,” they said:

“Your virtual war on us will cause a real war on you. You started this failed war,” the ISIS post says. “We told you from the beginning it’s not your war, but you didn’t get it and kept closing our accounts on Twitter, but we always come back. But when our lions [brave men] come and take your breath, you will never come back to life. For the ‘individual jihadi’ all over the world, target the Twitter company and its interests in any place, people, and buildings, and don’t allow any one of the atheists to survive.”

The online published message is now not to be found on the internet as it has been removed by the JUSTPASTE.IT team. The original message was written in Arabic and was translated by the various news outlets. As per the above message, ISIS is now officially threatening to kill Twitter employees and has called for ‘jihadis’ to kill everybody who is linked to them. As you may or may not know, ISIS uses Twitter heavily to expand their terror campaign and start recruiting more people, usually by making and sharing beheading videos. The above message was also seen on Twitter accounts belonging to ISIS sympathizers and on one of the accounts belonging to an ISIS puppet. Jack Dorsey, co-founder of Twitter, did not comment on these threats.

Twitter did, however, add:

“Our security team is investigating these threats.”
