Well, it seems waging a war that massacred THOUSANDS of Palestinians (of whom 7/10 were CIVILIAN according to the UN, and they should know because Israel had bombed UN sites there as well as schools that were filled with refugees. 495 CHILDREN, 253 WOMEN were all fair game to Israel, not to mention the 3,374 children, 2,088 women and 410 elderly people who were also injured) because a few kids were killed by gunmen (no need to show any proof of who did it, eh Israel. Seriously, they even admit that Hamas was not responsible, which begets the question why did they attack?) was not enough to completely drive the Palestinians out. So, Israel has decided to flood at least eighty family communities out of their homes by opening the dams.
The families were evacuated by the Gaza Ministry of Public Works and sent to shelters in al-Bureij refugee camp in the al-Zahra neighborhood. The camp is sponsored by the UN Relief Works Agency, which means that Israel will soon accidentally bomb it because the UN shelters terrorists.
Chief of the civil defense agency in Gaza, Brigadier General Said Al-Saudi, told Al Jazeera: “Israel opened water dams, without warning, last night, causing serious damage to Gazan villages near the border. More than 40 homes were flooded and 80 families are currently in shelters as a result.” The flooding would also negatively impact the agriculture that sustains these families.
“We are appealing to human rights organisations and international rights organisations to intervene to prevent further such action.” Why bother? That never results in anything, though really there isn’t much else that he could have done either.
In other news, Gaza pledges by oh-so-generous nations falls way short, and with just 5% of the pledges received thus far, the UN has run out of resources to do much other than say “poor baby” as children die from the cold and injuries. The largest nations to pledge while the pledging was good (but conveniently forget about it when the world media decided to refocus on some other celebrity’s ass) are:
Qatar which promised $1bn (£622m).
The US which pledged $212m (£132m) in conditional aid,
The United Arab Emirates pledged $200m (£124m).
Turkey pledged $200m (£124m).
The EU pledged a total of $568m (£353m).

How can the US afford to loan out money when we’re already trillions in debt? Must be nice to be allowed to keep spending all our money they don’t have yet. It’d be like us maxing out all our credit, calling the bank up to say ‘Merica – F yeah!’, then the bank gives you more credit, and the process repeats for a few decades… Tell me I’m not the only one that realizes how dangerous this spending pattern is? I consider this site a very reliable source of independant media. Alot of truths about western society, and mainstream media have been publicised here for which i deeply respect the organisation. I cant’t help but feel however that some of the stories on Israel are atleast slightly exaggerated or fabricated, of course I could stand to be corrected, but wish to see more evidence on these stories as it is the only subject I feel this organisation comes across as biased on. Please fact check. There are no dams that flooded this area, and the weather is run by God, not Israel, so if someone must be blamed, blame Him.
