The Russians Lost An Entire Battalion Trying To Cross A River In Eastern Ukraine

The better part of two or more Russian army battalions—potentially 100 vehicles and more than a thousand troops—in recent days tried to cross a pontoon bridge spanning the Siverskyi Donets River, running west to east between the separatist provinces of Donetsk and Luhansk in eastern Ukraine.

Ukrainian artillery caught them at the river bank—and destroyed them. The rapid destruction of around six dozen tanks and other armored vehicles, along with the bridge itself, underscores Russia’s deepening woes as its troops try, and fail, to make meaningful gains in eastern Ukraine’s Donbas region.

“We still assess Russian ground force in the Donbas to be slow and uneven,” an unnamed U.S. Defense Department official told reporters on Tuesday.

The Russians’ inability to cross rivers might explain their sloth. To be fair, “conducting river-crossings in a contested environment is a highly risky maneuver,” the U.K. Defense Ministry noted.

The Siverskyi Donets, which threads from southern Russia into eastern Ukraine then back into Russia, is just one of several water barriers Russian battalions must cross in order to advance west into Ukrainian-held territory. According to the Ukrainian armed forces’ general staff, the battalion that got caught at the pontoon bridge apparently was trying to strike at Lyman, a city of 20,000 that lies 17 miles west of the doomed crossing.

The Ukrainian army’s 17th Tank Brigade spotted the bridge, perhaps using one of the many small drones that function as the army’s eyes over the battlefield. The 17th is one of the army’s four active tank brigades. Its line battalions operate T-64 tanks and BMP fighting vehicles.

But it was the brigade’s artillery battalion with its 2S1 122-millimeter howitzers that apparently got first crack at the Russian bridge and the vehicles and troops concentrated on and around it, out in the open.

The 17th’s shelling destroyed more than 70 T-72 and T-80 tanks, BMPs, MT-LB armored tractors and much of the bridging unit itself, including a tugboat and the pontoon span.

It’s unclear how many Russians died or were wounded, but it’s worth noting that no battalion can lose most of its vehicles and remain capable of operations. In one strike, the Ukrainians removed from the battlefield one or two of the roughly 99 Russian battalion tactical groups in Ukraine.

In the aftermath of their defeat, local Russian forces mostly stuck to their side of the river, “trying to hold positions on the right bank,” according to the general staff in Kyiv. The disastrous river-crossing comes as Russian forces also are retreating away from the city of Kharkiv, farther north.

To be fair to Moscow, crossing any water obstacle during wartime is dangerous. The Ukrainians can claim perhaps the most lopsided victory over an enemy bridging effort, but the Russians have knocked out some Ukrainian spans, too.

World famous Ottoman cartographer Piri Reis’ 500-year-old map, apart from accurately exploring the northern coast of Antarctica, provides mind-boggling information about 2000 important ports and cities of the Mediterranean Sea, the western coasts of Europe and North Africa and the eastern coast of South America.

The Piri Reis map was compiled in 1513 and when it was discovered in 1929 it caused an international sensation as it was the only 16th-century map that showed South America in its proper longitudinal position in relation to Africa. The map shows the earth as seen from space, the sub-glacial topography of Greenland and Antarctica, and is aligned with the earth’s energy grid – enough hard-to-believe information to fascinate today’s world.

The astonishing details have puzzled the human minds and given rise to questions and controversies:

  • The map depicts Queen Maud Land, a 2.7 million-square-kilometer region of Antarctica, as ice-free millions of years ago. Geological evidence proves that this region could not have been ice-free until 4000 BC.
  • The true nature of Antarctica as a frigid region of ice and snow was convincingly proved for the first time by the second voyage of the English navigator Captain James Cook between 1772 and 1775.
  • The map depicts mountain ranges in the Antarctica. These were not discovered until 1952.
  • The geographical survey in Antarctica couldn’t have been made without an aerial technology. Such expertise did not exist million of years ago.

The last period of ice-free condition in Antarctica ended about 6000 years ago. Now the puzzle is: Who mapped the Queen Maud Land of Antarctica 6000 years ago?

The Piri Reis map probably implies that, if not technology, perhaps there existed an extremely intelligent ancient advanced civilization with all the tools of modern day civilization. The first civilization developed around 3000 BC followed by the Indus valley and the Chinese civilizations. Now the second puzzle is: Who carried out such extensive research and surveys 4000 BC that are only possible in the modern era with the ultra-modern technology?

History Professor Charles Hapgood believes: “It appears that accurate information has been passed down from people to people. It appears that the charts must have originated with a people unknown and they were passed on, perhaps by the Minoans and the Phoenicians, who were, for a thousand years and more, the greatest sailors of the ancient world. We have evidence that they were collected and studied in the great library of Alexandria (Egypt) and that compilations of them were made by the geographers that worked there”.

The map neither came from any ancient civilization nor created by extraterrestrials; an astonishing piece of work, the Piri Reis map was indeed a first class piece of naval intelligence.

Burandanga, Devil’s Breath or Scopolamine: call it whatever you want to; essentially it is the most dangerous drug in the world. Blocking free will, it also wipes memory and proves lethal if taken in high doses. A derivative of the nightshade plant found in Ecuador, Colombia and Venezuela, one gram of scopolamine is capable of killing 20 people. The drug is so powerful that it can cause vivid hallucinations and respiratory failure. Under influence, people have robbed their own houses, been sexually assaulted, emptied their entire bank accounts, and have been abducted.

A lethal combination of soda, candy, and cold medicine, this cough syrup cocktail gives users a euphoric, woozy feeling. The drink is known to have killed members of the hip hop community, including producers Big Hawk and DJ Screw, and rapper Pimp C in 2007. Despite that, Purple Drank is endorsed by many top hip hop celebrities like Eminem, Kanye West, and Lil Wayne.

The morphine-like analgesic action of AH-7921, as a μ-opioid receptor agonist, has been found to be several times more potent than codeine and 80% more potent than morphine. Often marketed as a cheap substitute for other stimulants such as methamphetamine and cocaine; bath salts are synthetic crystalline drugs that cause unusual psychiatric behavior, psychosis, hallucinations, panic attacks, violent behavior, suicidal thoughts, elevated body temperature and heart attack.

Whoonga, a cheap but highly toxic and addictive street drug widely available in South Africa, is added to marijuana and smoked for its relaxing and hallucinogenic properties. The white powder is made up of washing detergent, rat poison, and a combination of anti-retro-viral drugs used to treat HIV infection. Smoking whoonga poses severe health risks, including internal bleeding, stomach ulcers, heart failure and death.

1. Krokodil

It is estimated that one million Russians are addicted to the “flesh-eating drug” — a deadly mix of opioids, codeine, eye drops, and gasoline sold at a third of the price of heroin. The lethal combination of chemicals causes gangrene, rots you from the inside out, eats your flesh – making it scaly like a crocodile’s. Krokodil causes brain damage, organ failure and limb amputations.

Amidst all the anxiety-inducing developments of the last years comes a grisly report that a man in India started chasing after a woman and viciously killing her by biting her throat.

The horrific slaying took place in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu on Friday when the man, who is in his 30s, ran out of his home naked and violently attacked the throat of a 90-year-old woman who was sleeping outside her house, Times of India reports.

The man, a textile trader, had been isolating because he had recently returned from Sri Lanka; the Indian newspaper also reported that he was “mentally disturbed.”

When neighbors heard the fracas they hurried to the aid of the woman and subdued her crazed assailant. The nonagenarian victim was rushed to a local hospital but tragically she died from her injuries.

The ghastly homicide compounded the fears of some social media users in India who wondered if it was a sign of an impending “zombie apocalypse.”

India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi placed the country’s 1.3 billion people on lockdown on 23 March.

US coronavirus death toll exceeds 3,000, doubling in just 3 days, as Trump mulls ‘tougher’ quarantines

The lethal coronavirus has killed more than 3,000 Americans, data collected by Johns Hopkins University shows, with the US death toll doubling in a period of only three days as all 50 states scramble to cope with outbreaks.

Tallying more than 163,000 cases in the US, the Johns Hopkins Covid-19 tracker put the country at 3,008 fatalities late on Monday evening, nearly half of them from New York, which has quickly become the nation’s major viral hotspot.

The dark landmark was achieved as authorities in Arizona and Kentucky joined dozens of other states and cities with lockdown measures, with Arizona Governor Doug Ducey imposing a sweeping stay-at-home order, and Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear signing an executive order urging residents to not leave the state. Some 250 million Americans currently face similar travel restrictions across 30 states, or about 75 percent of the entire US population.

After repeatedly suggesting federal social distancing guidelines designed to limit the spread of the virus could be relaxed by Easter, President Donald Trump reversed course on Monday, telling reporters the measures would have to be “toughened up” at least until the end of April and that Americans could expect “challenging times” over the next month.

The guidelines will be very much as they are, maybe even toughened up a little bit.

Anthony Fauci, a senior member of the White House Covid-19 task force and head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said the virus could continue to pose problems even into the fall – warning of a possible second outbreak – but added that the country would be better equipped to respond at that point.

Containment efforts have focused on New York as of late, where nearly half of the country’s confirmed cases have been reported, with the Navy, Army and National Guard working to take pressure off the state’s crowded hospitals and morgues. New Jersey, California and Michigan have also become major hotspots, each reporting in excess of 5,000 infections.

Worldwide, the virus has sickened over 784,000 people and killed more than 37,600, largely concentrated in the US, Italy, Spain and China – though the majority of patients in the latter country have since recovered. The global disease toll has climbed rapidly in recent days, seeing tens of thousands of new cases and thousands of fatalities each day.

WIKILEAKS Documents: We’ve Been Lied To About The Moon & What’s On It

Is our world really as it’s been presented? There are millions of pages of documents that are classified by multiple countries every single year, how is it possible to really determine what’s going on behind the scenes? Why does secrecy rule?

It’s one of many interesting documents that suggest strange things are and have been happening on the Moon.

Did the USA really have a secret Moon Base on the moon?

COVID has sparked a massive shift in consciousness, especially when it comes to trusting governments. Censoring scientists, doctors, journalists and scientific evidence that called into question the measures governments have taken, and are taking to supposedly combat COVID has become the norm.

The US Department of Homeland Security has even put out a statement saying sharing “misinformation” can now be considered a form of domestic terrorism. But who is deciding what “misinformation” is? We’ve seen this label thrown on truth so many times within the past two years alone.

NASA has talking about “planning” moon bases in the past.

The point is, governments lie. Politics has become, and has been for quite some time, a cesspool of corruption. Measures and policy are usually put in place to benefit the wealthy elite, and they do so under the guise of good will.

But government corruption and secrecy goes well beyond COVID. In fact, secrecy has been a staple of these organizations for decades.  The United States, for example, has a history of government agencies existing in secret for years. The National Security Agency (NSA) was founded in 1952, its existence was hidden until the mid 1960’s. Even more secretive was the National Reconnaissance Office, which was founded in 1960 but remained completely secret for 30 years.

When it comes to the moon, there are legitimate reasons to believe that space programs have been shrouded in secrecy as well. For example, as unbelievable as it may sound, a 1979 document published by Wikileaks clearly implies that the United States had a “secret” based on the Moon that was destroyed by Russia.

Unfortunately, the document is not an electronic document, therefore access to its full contents is not available online. As a result we can’t know much of its content. It came from the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs.

Prior to this being published by Wikileaks, it was known that there was a desire to build bases on the moon. A 1966 document from the US government’s own publishing office clearly states these goals. In a statement by HON. George P. Miller, a portion of the document states,

A 1962 memorandum that was addressed to the CIA director regarding “Military Thought” (Top Secret) by Lieutenant General Korenevsky that was published by The Ministry of Defense in USSR states the following,

As you can see, it’s safe to assume we don’t really know what’s going on with regards to the moon, or, if anything, or what’s happening up there with possible manned bases. These kinds of developments and initiatives have a history of being shrouded in secrecy. The Wikileaks document is from 1979, so perhaps these goals were accomplished by then?

It has been announced within the mainstream, however, that Russia and China have presented a plan to build the joint International Lunar Research Station (ILRS). The proposed lunar base is intended to be ready for crewed visits by 2036. But is this simply a “mainstream” way to disclose a presence when there as already been one for decades?

There are also other concerning pieces of information that have ‘leaked’ regarding the moon.

According to Wikileaks documents, Russia has destroyed the moon base of the U.S. military.

For example, a declassified report by the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center from June 1959 shows just how seriously they considered a plan called Project A119. In general, they wanted to investigate the capability of weapons in space as well as gain further insight into the space environment and the detonation of nuclear devices within it.

What’s interesting is the witness testimony that’s accompanied sentiments expressed in some of these documents from people within the military. In the 1950s, USAF Colonel Ross Dedrickson was responsible for maintaining the inventory of the nuclear weapons stockpile for the Atomic Energy Commission. He was also responsible for accompanying security teams testing the security of the weapons, among other duties. He claimed that the US government actually did send a nuclear weapon to be detonated on the moon for scientific purposes.

What’s also interesting to note are strange observations that have been made over the years. For example, members of the Society For Planetary SETI Research (SPSR) published a paper in 2016 the Journal of Space Exploration about certain features on the far side of the Moon that appear in the crater Paracelsus C. Titled “Image Analysis of Unusual Structures on the Far Side of the Moon in the Crater Paracelsus C,” it argues that these features might be artificial in origin.

The study makes a great point when it comes to the extraterrestrial hypothesis:

A decidedly conservative mainstream scientific establishment often rejects anomalies based on subject matter alone, i.e., there cannot be alien artifacts on the moon because there are no alien artifacts on the moon (or other planets). Such a view is an example of circular reasoning, based on the belief that extraterrestrials do not exist, or if they do exist that they could not have traveled to our solar system.

The testimony linked above from Dedrickson also mentions an extraterrestrial presence. So maybe there’s something deeper beyond human intelligence we are not being told? Who knows? One thing is for certain, it’s no longer taboo to ponder.
