Officers Bring AR-15 Rifles To A Middle School Lockdown Drill

Armed with AR-15 rifles, police burst into the Winter Haven, Jewett Middle Academy near Tampa, Florida during an unannounced school shooting drill. The officers moved from classroom to classroom, guns drawn, pretending to look for active shooters. The school resource officer involved in the drill, Derrick Doles, was reported to have been carrying a loaded .45-caliber pistol.

Chief Charlie Bird said that parents were notified of the drill by email, however this was after the drill had taken place. No one had been warned beforehand, including teachers, and students were terrified for their lives. Some students told parents that officers pointed guns at them, and Lauren Marionneaux, a seventh-grader at the school stated, “We actually thought that someone was going to come in there and kill us.”

Police claim that these types of drills are “vital in order to evaluate not only law enforcement response, but more importantly to educate the students and school officials in case an actual event were to occur.” Polk County Public Schools spokesman Jason Gearey defended the drill, saying, “Unfortunately, no one gets an advanced notice of real life emergencies. We don’t want students to be scared, but we need them to be safe.”

None-the-less, many parents expressed their outrage afterwards, and the middle school principal, Jacquelyn Moore, has been suspended pending an internal investigation. The school district’s Superintendent, Kathryn Leroy, said that she never ordered an “active shooting drill be performed with students present and officers having weapons in their hands,” and she has publicly apologized and promised it will never happen again. From now on, parents will be notified before a lockdown drill at school.

Derrick Doles, the Winter Haven Police Department school resource officer who held the loaded .45-caliber pistol, and helped plan the drill, has been taken off that unit. He has been transferred to the patrol unit, and will not face further disciplinary action, said department spokeswoman, Jamie Brown.

“We went over the whole thing with the school resource officer and the other officer involved, and they understood the error in their judgment,” Brown said. “We have looked at everything and we’ve done everything we need to do.”

Small Aircrafts Spying On Cell Phone Data

This is no secret that United States likes to spy on its own people and others. And they seem to enjoy this with more sophisticated tools in their hands. We have recently discovered that US has and is using a dirt box device on small training aircrafts i.e. Cessna 150, Cessna 172, Cessna 182 and so on for spying. This device allows them to collect information from cellular phones; without the user even knowing. These devices mimic the signal towers or cell phone towers, fooling the smartphone in to believing they are connect to their respective carriers.

Once the device is connect via the dirt box it will start collecting data of all the contacts, addresses, applications and even encrypted data. The “flaw” with this device is that it collects data from every smart phone available and not just a specific target. But authorities say that data that is clear is dumped or deleted.

This device can locate the target within the accuracy of 10 feet. Telling its operator about the targets where about and on what height are they located (floors in buildings). As said earlier the device mimics cellular towers thus allowing other phones to get connected with the device. If the target is believed to be using a Sprint device then the dirt box will set its frequency accordingly and allowing the cell into thinking the aircraft is the tower. I can say if this is the best part about this device or the worst thing, but this device can detect the cell phone even if it is switched off. As the experts say the device pings or tries to constantly create a connection even if it is powered off.

The United States says any such activates are within the US laws. They neither confirm nor deny such activity.

Cryptowall Malware Attacks Sheriff’s Office And Tries To Blackmail

Dickson County Sheriff’s department was attacked by a Trojan malware. The Ransom-ware Trojan encrypted all the case files in the system. The creator of the program demanded $500 Bitcoins in order to restore the seventy two thousand files.

Jeff McCliss a detective working on the case said that the malware – Crypto Wall – does not harm the files but keeps them locked until the demanded amount has been paid. After a meeting with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Tennessee Bureau of Investigation the agencies came to a conclusion to pay the programmer. Investigators say that the malware came from a possible advert and someone must have clicked on the ad in order to download and activate the malware.

According to security website Symantec, Crypto Wall encrypts files and creates a large number of registries in the system. This happens every time the computer restarts. It also encrypts them with a particular extension with instructions on how to obtain the decryption key software.

Once the files are encrypted a text is displayed on HTML note pad telling the target to obtain a key in order to decrypt them. There is a certain time limit to it otherwise the key is lost and the files are coded forever.

The message contains a link to the website for the payment. Most of these sites are on the anonymous TOR Network. If the link is of the TOR Network it asks the user to download the TOR browser bundle in order to gain access to the link.

A Flying Aircraft Carrier For US Drones

A flying aircraft carrier or as Wikipedia likes to call it the Hellicarrier is “the idea” that is being considered by the United States government, thank you Avengers. The Defense Advanced Research Products Agency or DARPA is funding scientists, engineers and private firms in order to bring this project to life.

According to a press release this is what DARPA has to say:
“DARPA is interested in exploring the feasibility of small UAS airborne launch and recovery approaches for providing distributed airborne capabilities from existing air platforms. The agency envisions a large aircraft that, with minimal modification, could launch and recover multiple small unmanned systems from a standoff distance. It is postulated that there is a useful trade space in terms of launch platforms; recovery platforms; recovery techniques; the number of UAS employed; the size (and cost) of the UAS; UAS speed, range, and endurance; UAS propulsion; UAS survivability; payload types; and operational concepts.

This RFI seeks information on concept feasibility, unique and enabling platform technologies, and system architectures, concepts of operation, modeling and simulation, potential demonstration platforms and approaches, and reusable low-cost delivery vehicle (UAS) platform concepts. DARPA is primarily interested in platform-related technologies and concepts. This RFI also seeks rough order of magnitude (ROM) cost and schedule information to assist in planning a potential future DARPA program in this area.”

This carrier will work as the same as a sea carrier for servicing drones and refueling them since they have small fuel tanks.

If this project is completed it will make drones more versatile than ever before. The United States will be sending drones almost everywhere. This would also allow the US to cut the budget they spend on creating air base in different countries.
Defense Advanced Research Products Agency is requesting ideas from its people so they can start the process and implement all those ideas in their four year plan.

Ku Klux Klan Wants To Shoot Anonymous Members

Anonymous and the Ku Klux Klan hate group continue to while the grand jury finally decided not to indict Officer Darren Wilson for the murder of unarmed 18-year-old, Michael Brown. Tensions began to rise after Frank Ancona, leader of the KKK’s Missouri operations, threatened to use lethal force against Ferguson protesters during the expected turmoil in the days to come.

After distributing fliers in the metropolitan St. Louis area warning protesters that there would be consequences for their actions, Ancona later appeared on MSNBC where he equated some demonstrators to terrorists. The KKK has specifically called out activist Bassam Masri as well, claiming he threatened police while live-streaming one of the protests. Masri has dismissed the accusation;

“If they want to perpetuate hate, we can’t stop them, but we can surely let them know we ain’t going for it. They are using the KKK to change the narrative to something they want, which is a race war which we are not advocating for, taking the story off [Missouri Governor Jay] Nixon, [St. Louis Country prosecutor Bob] McCulluch, and Darren Wilson,” he states. “It’s ok for the KKK to hate folks but God forbid a minority speaks up.”

In a recently released YouTube video, Anonymous met the KKK’s threats with a warning of their own.

#OpKKK and #HoodsOff are now in effect, and the KKK’s Twitter account, @KuKluxKlanUSA, was taken over. On Sunday the 16^th, their account tweeted, “You should’ve expected us. #OpKKK continues to be a success. Freedom will prevail.”

A tweet published the next day showed an image of a unicorn from the same Twitter handle with the quote, “And finally, here’s a unicorn J”

Following this tweet, the Grand Wizard of the KKK released this direct threat, “we will hunt you down and tear those masks from your face. You’ll be strung up next to the chimps. On display for the whole world to see. The Klan is to be feared, not threatened.”

Frank Ancona addressed Anonymous’ actions with threats of violence, claiming that anyone wearing an Anonymous mask could be shot. “You pathetic n***** lovers are going down, we’re not hiding. We’re not ashamed of who we are and what we represent. The invisible empire cannot and will not be overthrown, [sic].”

Anonymous is now monitoring KKK servers, and their warning is clear as well;

“Anything you upload will be taken down. Anything you use to promote the KKK will be shut down. We are not attacking you because of what you believe in, as we fight for freedom of speech. We are attacking you because of your threats to use lethal attack against us at the Ferguson protests.”

“We are the law now.”

Anonymous issued this additional statement, claiming they have information that may link Darren Wilson to a Missouri Chapter of the KKK.
