Putin Talks About Russia’s Next President – Setting Off Alarm In US

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday held an annual event that’s somewhat unique to Russia referred to as a marathon call-in, which allows ordinary citizens to ask questions of their leader via a “direct line” telethon show lasting for hours.

Putin engaged in discussion on multiple pressing topics, perhaps the most interesting which was the question of his successor. Reuters and other US-based press agencies misleadingly characterized Putin as saying that the time will come when I name my possible successor”.

This suggests that he spoke as if he’s a dynastic king or emperor or something, an image which Western pundits have long tended to blindly promote.

However, here’s how The Moscow Times more accurately translated the remarks:

“The decision regarding who should lead the Russian Federation should ultimately be up to the citizens. They exercise their freedom of choice through direct secret ballot voting. This is the only way,” Putin began.

That’s when he added:

“When the time comes, I hope I can say that such and such person, in my opinion, is worthy of leading such a wonderful country as our Motherland Russia.”

This of course is very different from the slew of misleading headlines saying he will be choosing or “naming” his successor. The whole question is also sensitive and fraught with controversy given last year’s Kremlin-approved drastic constitutional overhaul which theoretically gave Putin the ability to run for two more six-year terms if he desired. This could potentially see him stay in power all the way to 2036.

Another interesting topic broached during the public call-in event was the state of relations with the United States, coming off the summit with Joe Biden earlier this month.

From Wednesday’s marathon call-in show

“The world is changing and changing rapidly. No matter what sanctions are taken against Russia, no matter how they try to scare us, Russia is still developing, its economic ability and defense power is improving, in some respects even better than in the United States,” Putin said.

“Our partners in the United States on one hand understand this, but on the other hand, they are still trying to preserve their monopoly position at all costs, and that’s where the threats and destructive behavior with exercises, provocations and sanctions stems from. It’s not up to us, it’s up to them. I hope that the realization that the world is changing will lead them to revisit their values,” he explained while discussing Russia’s response to the sanctions.

Tesla NEW Supercar “Rolling Down The Road On Fire Before Exploding” In Suburban Philadelphia

1

It’s no sooner than Tesla comes out with a new model that one is seen rolling down a suburban street, engulfed in flames, before exploding.

That was the case with one of the company’s new Model S “Plaid” vehicles and that was apparently the scene in a Philadelphia suburb, where pro-Tesla blog electrek noted that the vehicle had caught fire under what it called “strange circumstances”.

The incident took place in Haverford, Pennsylvania and the the Gladwyne fire department responded to the scene. They released the following statement:

“Gladwyne Firefighters responding to the 100 block of Rose Lane last night just before 9pm to assist Station 25 (Merion Fire Company of Ardmore) with a vehicle fire. While enroute to the call Chief 25 was advised that the reports were that a Tesla was on fire and it was well involved in fire. Engine 24 with a crew of 7 arrived on scene simultaneously with Engine 25. Due to prior training classes on Tesla Vehicle Fire emergencies, Engine 24 laid a 5 inch supply line into the scene so that we could keep a continual water stream on the fire to extinguish the fire and cool the batteries down to ensure complete extinguishment. Engine 24 and Engine 25 both deployed hand lines to extinguish the fire, each maintained a dedicated water source and continued to cool the vehicle down for almost 90 minutes.”

Photographs released by the fire department show firefighters attempting to put out the blaze, and – as we have seen in many cases of Tesla fires – the charred remains of the vehicle that once was.

Attempting to offer up some form of analysis, electrek noted that the “exact circumstances of how the vehicle caught on fire are still unknown”. But the post also claimed that a witness from Narberth Ambulance, who was working as an EMT in the area and who was on the scene, said that “the call came in from one of the residents of the neighborhood who saw it rolling down the road on fire before exploding in front of their house.”

The blog post then turns on the spin, theorizing a number of potential causes for the fire except for negligence on the behalf of Tesla. “In this case, the most interesting thing is that the vehicle affected appears to be a brand new Model S Plaid, which is equipped with a new battery pack from Tesla,” electrek editor Fred Lambert writes, possible unaware of the argument he’s tacitly making.

He concluded by stating the blog would wait for more information before drawing conclusions, and then suggests that “even arson” may have played a role in the fire.

But later in the day on Thursday, more information came to light when a Tweet appeared from a lawyer claiming to represent the owner of the vehicle

The lawyer claimed that the owner of the vehicle was trapped in the vehicle when it “spontaneously combusted”.

The lawyer said he was unable to reach Tesla so far.

So much for the arson theory, Fred.

“WE WERE Children” – Cathedral Covered With Paint After Discovery Of 751 Unmarked Graves Of Children

Red painted handprints and the words “We were children” covered the doors of St. Paul’s Co-Cathedral in downtown Saskatoon Thursday evening, following the news of an estimated 751 unmarked graves found at the former site of Marieval Indian Residential School on Cowessess First Nation.

Video of the event posted to social media showed a woman painting and splattering red paint on the door and the sign of  St. Paul’s Co-Cathedral.

Photos of the aftermath show the words “We Were Children” scrawled on the church door.

The Catholic Church has been criticized for its role in the residential school system, especially for its reluctance to provide records relating to burial grounds.

On Thursday, the Cowessess First Nation announced the preliminary discovery of 751 unmarked graves at the former residential school. The announcement caused shock and outrage across the country.

The finding comes after another discovery at the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc First Nation in B.C. which announced the discovery of a burial site adjacent to the former Kamloops Indian Residential School. Preliminary findings indicate the site contains the remains of 215 children.

Church response

Father Stefano Penna, the priest at St. Paul’s Cathedral, said this was the second time this has happened to his church after the discovery of the remains of people at residential schools.

He said he understands the anger Indigenous people are feeling.

“My heart is broken at what was done in the name of Christ, but what was done actually more by acquiescing to a kind of government and social policy that sought to to ‘civilize and colonialize’ people by taking who they were, out,” he said.

“And this is an expression of that.”

Penna said he would like to sit down with the group that staged the event and listen to what they had to say.

“We have to stop seeing people as ideas, but to see people as people,” he said.

That’s what happened in the residential schools … These weren’t children and families with faces when the police came in and took them away.”

However, he said he does not agree with the actions.

“This objectively a crime. This is vandalism. This shouldn’t be done to any crosswalks with the rainbow flag or any mosque or any synagogue,” he said.

“We don’t ever solve anything that was hateful in the past by continuing to hate.”

Emotional experience

An eyewitness said watching the event was a beautiful experience.

Cathy Bohachik was outside the cathedral commemorating the 60th anniversary of her parents’ marriage when roughly 20 people approached the area wearing orange shirts. Then one woman broke away from the group and began to paint the door.

“It was very solemn, and it was very peaceful and it was really beautiful,” she said.

“She started to do her artwork, and we were actually quite speechless.”

Bohachik was raised as a Catholic and said she had never heard of the residential school system growing up.

“It was the most amazing experience I’ve seen in Saskatchewan, ever,” she said.

“I was very emotional all evening long, and I was so grateful that I was there to see it.”

Bohachik said the woman was approached by police and ordered to leave. A spokesperson from Saskatoon police said no charges had been laid at this time.

Anger and resentment

Indigenous affairs columnist Doug Cuthand said he was not surprised to see something like this happen, given recent events.

He said First Nations people across the country have a lot of anger and resentment that has been built up over the years. He mentioned two Catholic churches that burned down on the Penticton Indian Band and the Osoyoos Indian Band this week, as well as the removal of a statue of Father Joseph Hugonard at Sacred Heart Catholic cemetery in Lebret.

“This is kind of something we’ve got to expect,” he said.

“The church has become a target and we can expect more of this in the future.”

While Cuthand said burning down churches was unacceptable, he said First Nations people have the right to be angry at the church for its role in residential schools.

“A lot of people remember getting their knuckles rapped by a nun or strapped by a priest,” he said.

“They’ve harboured all these feelings with them all these years. So, yeah, I expect this is going to overflow.”

By Friday morning, the paint had been removed and a security guard had been posted outside the church.

McAfee Said He Would Not Commit Suicide – Referenced Epstein In Tweet Before Death

0

John McAfee and his death sparked creepy conspiracy theories and involved Jeffrey Epstein’s name.

After being charged with tax evasion in the U.S., McAfee entered the prison cell and was currently awaiting extradition in a Spanish prison.

However, only a week after Spain’s National Court in Madrid approved his extradition to the U.S., the antivirus software magnate took his own life.

Authorities found his dead body inside his cell in Barcelona around 1:00 PM. Although the cause of death remains under investigation, the Catalonia regional government Justice Department said that he could have died by suicide.

His manner of death immediately sparked creepy conspiracy theories that lead Epstein to a trending list worldwide. Because of this, people began digging into McAfee’s social media and found some possible hints that he might have been murdered, as well.

In a post in November 2019, the 75-year-old said that if he died by suicide, then it means that the U.S. government officials “whacked” him. Even until now, no evidence could prove his claims about the U.S. government killing him.

In another now-deleted tweet from 2020, McAfee referenced the infamous Jeffrey Epstein, who died mysteriously while behind bars. Although Epstein’s death was ruled a suicide, many people believe that he was taken out by the many powerful friends who would have been exposed by his testimony.

In his tweet, McAfee said, “Know that if I hang myself, a la Epstein, it will be no fault of mine.”

“I am content in here. I have friends. The food is good. All is well,” he also said at the time.

Many of McAfee’s posts from prison were lighthearted and philosophical, pondering on the sad state of affairs in prison but also finding humor in his situation.

However, many of his posts, especially his recent ones, showed much more frustration with his predicament.

“I’ve been three months in a Spanish prison. If I could choose a place to be, prison would not top my list,” he said. “If lawmakers were required to spend a single day in prison before being allowed to make laws penalties for nonviolent crimes would be drastically less severe,” he said in a recent post.

In the years leading up to his death, McAfee claimed that he was an enemy of the state and members of various governments were out to get him. McAfee was extremely outspoken about his political beliefs and ran for President of the United States under the Libertarian Party Banner in 2016 and 2020.

Meanwhile, after his death has been reported, his official Instagram account posted a plain image of the letter “Q.” This led to another conspiracy theory called QAnon.

This particular hypothesis came during the presidency of Donald Trump. The beliefs under this include talk about Trump secretly battling cannibalistic pedophiles who follow Satan.

In the weeks leading to his death, he expressed how contented he feels despite feeling the sorrow in prison.

McAfee’s wife, Janice, put more fuel to the fire through a Father’s Day post in which she speculated that the U.S. government is determined to kill him inside his cell.

As of the writing, none of these conspiracies have been proven true.

Left “Art”: Children’s Eroticism & Human Monsters

0

“The artist is the creator of beautiful things,” wrote the Irish writer Oscar Wilde. This attitude was generally valid until the second half of the 20th century. Since the dawn of European civilization in Greco-Roman antiquity, works of art have had to be beautiful, sublime, edifying, and enjoyable. Art comes from ability, as a well-known saying goes. Of course, true, great art also has a deeper meaning.

For several decades, the art scene has been dominated by left-wing fools from the Bobo milieu. Beauty is no longer a criterion. Rather, what is declared is considered art. Manual skills are also often no longer necessary for the new types of “works of art”. The former “fine arts” are now mostly meaninglessly abstract, to the point of being intentionally ugly and vulgar. Behind this is a culture-Marxist agenda of social disintegration. This garbage is then written up to the general public’s mockery through pseudo-intellectual ramblings and then showered with state prizes and subsidies.

Exhibition with children’s erotic

An exhibition on the subject of “Wild Childhood” is currently causing a stir in the Lentos Museum in Linz (Wochenblick reported). The name says it all: In one picture you can see a little girl who is sitting on a table and is naked except for her underpants. A grown man kneels in front of her and lays his head on the girl’s thighs. One sculpture shows a girl lolling lasciviously in bed like an adult woman. Many other exhibits show naked or half-naked children.

“An exhibition that shows undressed children as erotic toys has no place in a city museum,” commented the liberal vice mayor, Markus Hein, on the scandal show. The Linz FPÖ has therefore consistently voted against further funding of the museum with three million euros annually. “Disgusting perversions that play with alleged child pornography have no place in a city museum under the guise of art,” said the FPÖ in a statement.

Sexualization of Children as Art?

Explosive: There are separate tours for children from five years of age. The confrontation of children with inappropriate sexual content has long been on the agenda of the left. A lecture in the course of the exhibition with the disgusting title “The child an erotic toy” is therefore hardly surprising. For many years now, systematic early sexualization of toddlers has been practiced in schools under the guise of sex education. As is well known, it was part of the social revolution of the 1968 to try to make pedophilia socially acceptable. In particular, people from the environment of the Greens attracted attention with this program, which apparently is far from over.

Disgusting human monsters

Another peculiar exhibition called “Embracing the Future” is currently in the Kunsthalle Krems. The works of Patricia Piccinini show gruesome human deformities, as they are sometimes portrayed in horror films or in the field of science fiction, when one shows failed human genetic experiments.

The sculptures are repulsive hybrids of humans and animals, hermaphrodites with dark hair all over their bodies and disgusting, misshapen mountains of flesh. Hopefully our future doesn’t really look like this. In any case, one can ask the rhetorical question: Is this art, or can it go away? And above all, why does the taxpayer have to pay for such crap?
