When Russia conducted its first airstrikes in Syria in September 2015, the United States expressed serious doubts about the true intentions behind the move. U.S. Defense Secretary Ash Carter had claimed Putin’s military intervention was intended to inflame the civil war in Syria.
However, what the United States completely ignored was the fact that Russia was the sole country targeting ISIS on the legitimate basis, and at the request of Syria’s legitimate authorities. The U.S. has also ignored how the leader of the world’s most feared terrorist group, Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, rose from the U.S. prison Camp Bucca in Iraq, and that ISIS was a direct result of the adventurism of the West. ISIS, as a CIA creation to serve U.S. and Western interests – to usher in a One World government; to defend the Police State; to maintain the politics of fear; to justify more war; to fight against Russia, and to take over the entire Middle East – were also ignored. Ignored were the ways in which the U.S. and its allies have overtly and endlessly aided ISIS; and, that the U.S. is deliberately fighting to lose against ISIS and the Al-Nusra Front in Syria, whilst secretly propping them up in order to weaken and oust President Assad.
If ISIS has the U.S. backing, what prompts Putin to send Russia’s largest warship into Syria to destroy ISIS once and for all? What is the real reason behind Putin fighting ISIS? Can you really doubt his intentions? The video below provides a powerful and sobering insight into the U.S. and Russian reality. Watch it yourself, and share it if you think it can change mindsets:
