Thousands Of Students Protest in London Against Tuition Fees & Cuts

Thousands of students are protesting and marching on the UK parliament today, on Wednesday,, 20th of November 2014, in the largest student action in four years. Called by the National Campaign Against Fees & Cuts, the protest is demanding an end to budget cuts and to restore free education.

Contingents of students have arrived in the capital from at least 40 UK towns and cities. Further nationwide days of action have been announced throughout December.

  1. If only I had known going to college would drown me in debt and have no impact on what I am doing as a profession. Two degrees neither of which can be applied to my current work. Ruined credit and I’m 40. If I was in my 20’s with this much debt I would lose it.
